*Update for my patients/customers - (sorry it's a duplicate post for those on my personal page).*
I studied this MSc in Sport & Exercise Science Biomechanics to be able to compliment & expand my Musculoskeletal Podiatry skills through the following modules:
- Biomechanics & Injury Management
- Advanced Theory for Sport & Exercise Biomechanics
- Professional Practice & Gait Laboratory Skills
- Research project related to the effect of running trainers (how some trainers are like running on a tightrope due to an extremely narrow midfoot/hourglass shape & how this affects running gait).
- Physiology of Sport Performance to compliment my triathlon coaching skills.
In addition, I'm also a registered staff nurse (work for Bluestone's Medical) so these skills help with regards to patients who have health conditions such as diabetes or wounds to the feet.
