You guys are absolutely, ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!

I’m honestly speechless. I thought we might make Ā£1,000, Ā£1,500 at a push. But you guys have absolutely smashed it out of the park.

Ā£10,000!!!

I’m now looking at all the options and possibilities for what we can do with it, but please know that every single penny will be spent on improving our yard and helping us care for the ponies to the very best of our abilities.

I genuinely cannot thank you enough. Your generosity means more than I can put into words.

And for everyone asking, I’ll share the link to our GoFundMe below.

You guys really are the best ā¤ļø

There’s a little bit of cheekiness going on at Dinky HQ recently! And it’s not with The Naughties for a change! (Aka Gracie, Charm and Evie!). It’s OG’s keeping me on my toes! šŸ¤£šŸ™ˆ

I’m honestly speechless.

When I put the post up this morning, I was hoping, albeit very sheepishly, that if we could raise £1,000, I would be chuffed to bits.

I’ve been quoted Ā£2,200 to put hardcore down and make our yard much more manageable through the winter months. My thinking was that if we could raise Ā£1,000, I’d somehow find the other Ā£1,200.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think we’d receive nearly Ā£7,000 in just 12 hours.

I genuinely don’t know what to say.

I’m now looking into whether we could potentially afford to have concrete laid instead, which is what I had originally hoped for but thought would be completely out of reach. It is likely to still cost considerably more, but as the donations keep rolling in, I’m allowing myself to remain hopeful that it could become a possibility.

I’ll keep you all posted.

You guys are the most amazing and supportive followers I could ever wish for. I feel so incredibly grateful to have so many people behind us, cheering us on and wanting to help make things better for the ponies.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heartā¤ļø

I’m doing something I find really difficult to do. I’m asking for help.

Since sharing my post about our yard earlier this week, so many of you have suggested starting a fundraiser to help us improve the area.

Asking for help makes me feel uncomfortable, especially when you are already so incredibly supportive. But I’ve decided to listen and reach out.

The yard area in front of Gracie, Evie and Charmie’s stables becomes incredibly muddy and challenging, particularly through the wetter months. It can become difficult and potentially dangerous for both the ponies and the people who help me care for them.

We’ve been lucky over the summer with very little rain, but the rain has returned and, already, so has the mud.

Concrete is simply too expensive, but if we can raise £2,000, we can level the area, lay hardcore and create a much safer, solid surface for everyone.

Even a few pounds, the price of a coffee, would help us get closer to our target. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing this would mean just as much.

Every bit of support you give to Dinky Ponies helps us to keep doing what we do. By supporting us, you enable us to continue supporting the people who need the Dinky effect most.

Thank you, as always, for believing in us and supporting Dinky Ponies ā¤ļø

It amazes me how much love the elderly still have to give.

But perhaps it shouldn’t amaze me at all.

I think so much of it gets bottled up over the years, given out in little pieces when the opportunity comes.

And then, when something makes them feel happy, safe and connected, it all comes flooding out.

A whole lifetime of love still sitting there, waiting for somewhere to go ā¤ļø

I sometimes look at what we’ve created and think, ā€œIt’s not much.ā€

But then I remember where we started, how much we’ve made work, and how much love has gone into every little corner.

Not everything has to be fancy to be special.

This little place has been built slowly, with a lot of hard work, plenty of improvising and a whole lot of love.

It’s not perfect. But it’s ours.

And actually, I’m pretty proud of that ā¤ļø

When things feel too much, remember, you don’t have to have everything figured out today.

You don’t have to be strong all the time. It’s ok to pause. It’s ok to breathe. It’s ok to take a step back.

Sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves to keep going, to keep everyone else happy, to have all the answers and to somehow hold everything together.

But you’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to ask for help. You’re allowed to have a bad day.

Take things one moment at a time. Tomorrow will come, and with it, a new chance to begin again.

And remember, you are doing better than you think you are ā¤ļø

I genuinely can’t believe people are buying our Christmas cards… in AUGUST!

When my supplier told me we needed to start promoting the Christmas products in August, I laughed. I’m very much a December Christmas kinda person, so the thought of people even thinking about Christmas in August seemed completely mad!

Never in a million years did I think people would actually be buying them this early. But you are! And from all the lovely stories you’ve shared with me, I know some of you have already bought yours.

I’m honestly so chuffed. Thank you, as always, for supporting Dinky Ponies and for making all of this possible. It really does mean so much to me x
