Limitless Balanced Life

Limitless Balanced Life My name is Chris and I am a systematic kinesiologist based at The Shaftsbury Centre, Percy Street, Rodbourne, Swindon, SN2 2AZ.

Systematic kinesiology (pronounced kin-easy-ology) is a natural health care system suitable for all ages which uses gentle muscle testing to evaluate what your body is deficient in and where there are energy blockages. Having been into alternative therapies and general wellbeing for over 20 years, I am now fully qualified in kinesiology using muscle testing for finding out what your body is defici

ent in and where there are energy blockages. Session price - £70 (required supplements are in addition - I will send you the links to the specific ones that come up through testing your body)
Session length - usually between 1 to 1.5 hours long.

How kinesiology lets us have a conversation with the body

One of the things I love most about kinesiology is that it allows us to have a literal conversation with the body. Not in a mystical, floaty way — but through the nervous system, the subconscious, and the body’s own built‑in feedback system.

When we use muscle testing, we’re tapping into the part of you that’s always paying attention: your subconscious. This part of the mind stores your memories, your stress responses, your emotional patterns, and the things your body has been quietly coping with for years. It knows far more than the conscious mind ever could.

Muscle testing works like a yes/no language. Once you understand that language, you can ask the body almost anything — not just about supplements or foods.

You can explore:
• where stress is sitting in the body
• which emotions are being triggered
• what the body needs to feel safe
• which energy pathways are blocked
• what past experiences are still affecting you
• what helps your system come back into balance

It’s like bypassing the overthinking, over‑analysing conscious mind and going straight to the source — the part of you that already knows what’s wrong and what will help.

It might sound unusual at first, but once you experience it, it feels surprisingly natural.

The body is always communicating - kinesiology just gives us a way to listen.

Give me a shout if you think this is something that could help you! x

Heading somewhere hot soon? A little tip for keeping the mozzies away…

If you’re a magnet for mosquito bites, this one’s for you!

Start taking garlic tablets a good few weeks before your holiday.
Mozzies hate the smell that comes through your skin when you’ve got enough garlic in your system — you won’t notice it, but they definitely do.

It’s not a miracle cure, but it can make a big difference to how tasty you are to them.

Less itching, less swelling - and the cheap ones from the supermarket will do the job nicely!

Your future holiday self will thank you.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Friday! Here is the full review which was just lovely!
"I highly recommend Limitless Balanced Life.

Chris is warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to. She is clearly passionate about Kinesiology and helping others.

I found Chris to be knowledgeable, grounded and professional.

I was feeling out of balance prior to the my first visit, having had a kicking courtesy of the menopause I put it down to further hormonal in balance. Working this through with Chris it transpires that I have a food intolerance.

Chris recommended some supplements to support me, along with some changes in my diet have resulted in my feeling a whole lot better.

Chris is genuinely a lovely person, she has given advice and been support my new venture, which she didn't have to do. You leave feeling that no only have you seen a great practitioner - but that you have also made a friend."

Ahhh....love that! Angie has a great new business she is getting off the ground - boxing therapy! I am more than happy to help her in any way I can! We should all support each other - no gatekeeping allowed here! It's been a learning curve for setting up my business and if I can help anyone with their new ventures, I will!

Finding the Balance in a World Full of Wellness Noise

Something has really struck me lately, and I want to talk about it openly.
We all want to live as healthily as we can — of course we do. We want to feel good, have energy, support our bodies, and make choices that help us thrive. But somewhere along the way, the wellness world has become… noisy. Not just noisy — fear‑based.

Everywhere you look, there’s a message telling you what you must avoid, what you should cut out, what’s “toxic”, what’s “dangerous”, what you’re doing wrong. And honestly? I think it’s getting a bit much.

I’ll hold my hands up and say that at times, without meaning to, I’ve probably contributed to that noise too. Not from a place of fear, but from wanting to help people feel better.

Still — it’s made me reflect on how important balance really is. Because living well shouldn’t feel stressful.
It shouldn’t feel like you’re failing if you don’t get it perfect. You shouldn’t feel like you have to worry about every single thing you eat, drink, or do and you certainly shouldn’t feel like you’re constantly on high alert.

For me, it’s simple: I follow the 80/20 rule.

In regards to eating, about 80% of what I eat is really good, nourishing, supportive food.....the other 20%? It’s not perfect — and that’s absolutely fine.

Because we’re humans, not robots and because joy matters.
Because stress about being “perfect” is far worse for your body than the occasional treat.

Let’s keep doing the best we can.
Let’s keep learning, growing, and making choices that support our health.

But let’s also stop letting fear run the show.
Wellness should feel empowering — not exhausting x

Do you ever feel tired… all the time?

Not just “I had a late night” tired, but that deep, dragging tiredness that seems to follow you around no matter what you do.

Maybe you’re relying on caffeine to get through the day or you wake up feeling like you haven’t actually rested.
Maybe you keep telling yourself it’s “just life” — but your body keeps whispering otherwise.

Fatigue isn’t always about sleep.
Sometimes it’s your hormones shifting.
Sometimes it’s low iron, B12, vitamin D, or other minerals running on empty.
Sometimes it’s stress that never properly switches off.
Sometimes it’s your system working harder than you realise.

Your body is always communicating — and tiredness is one of its clearest messages.

If this feels familiar and you’d like to explore what your body might be trying to tell you, I have appointments available. A kinesiology session can help you understand what’s going on underneath and where your system may need support.

You don’t have to live in a constant state of exhaustion.
Your energy matters — and you deserve to feel like yourself again x

What actually happens in a kinesiology session with me?

I’ve had quite a few people message me lately asking what an appointment involves, so I thought I’d write a little post to explain it properly.

When you come in, we always start with a chat — how you’re feeling, what’s been going on for you, and what you’d like to achieve from the session. Everyone comes with something slightly different, so this part helps me understand what your body might be trying to tell us.

From there, you’ll lie comfortably on the massage table while I gently test different muscles. This isn’t strength testing or anything strenuous — it’s simply a way of seeing where the body is showing stress or weakness.

Once we’ve identified those areas, we explore whether any emotional stressors are affecting your system right now. The body is incredibly honest, and it often highlights things you might not even realise are weighing on you.

After that, we look at what will help bring you back into balance. I use muscle testing to find the right combination of supplements that strengthen your system, and I often add Bach flower remedies for that extra layer of emotional support.

When we’ve gathered everything your body is asking for, I finish by working on the relevant energy lines connected to the weak muscles we found. This helps your system reset, rebalance, and feel more grounded.

People often leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more “themselves” again — and that’s exactly the aim.

If you’ve been curious about booking in or want to know whether kinesiology could help you, you’re always welcome to message me!

Sorry… but I’m talking about sweat again. I can’t help it — ever since my last post, I’ve been thinking a lot about antiperspirant and what we’re actually doing to our bodies when we try to stop them from sweating.

Here’s the thing: our bodies are meant to sweat. It’s one of the most natural, essential processes we have. It cools us down, releases toxins and keeps everything functioning the way it should. Blocking sweat completely isn’t doing us any favours.

What we can control, though, is the smell — and that’s where natural deodorant comes in. A good natural deodorant doesn’t stop you sweating (because it shouldn’t), but it does stop the odour. For most of the time, that’s all most of us actually need.

I totally get that there are days when you really, truly don’t want to sweat — weddings, job interviews, big events where you’re in a fancy outfit and feeling the pressure. Fair enough. But for everyday life? We really should embrace the fact that sweating is normal. Yes, sweat marks aren’t the nicest thing in the world, but sometimes we just have to suck it up and let our bodies do what they’re designed to do.

There are loads of brilliant natural deodorants out there now — salt‑based ones, mineral sticks, creams, sprays — all without the chemicals you find in antiperspirants and other non natural deodorants.

They actually work. My family has been using Salt of the Earth for years and we swear by it. It’s simple, natural and keeps you fresh without stopping your body from doing its job.

So here’s your gentle reminder - sweat is normal - sweat is healthy - sweat is supposed to happen. With the right deodorant, you can let your body get on with it — without worrying about the smell.
