Tina People Therapy

Tina People Therapy Hi, if you are interested in counselling please contact me. 😊 I am continually training and updating knowledge for my personal development.

Hello, my name is Tina and I run a small and flexible practice offering hypnotherapy and counselling. I offer hypnotherapy for a variety of different issues from fears and phobias such as flying, dentists and emetophobia, controlling anxiety, confidence issues, breaking habits and of course for smoking cessation. The counselling service I offer is an integrative form of counselling, bringing toget

her different elements of specific therapies, with the view that there is no single approach to treat clients. I have an AIM Award Level 3 Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills (QCF)- Cert Hyp CS Qualified and an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Ad Dip PC). I am a registered member of the National Hypnotherapy Society (MHS) and National Counselling Society (NCS). I am keen to support people in making positive changes within their lives and help people understand the power and ability that everyone has and is capable of to change things about themselves for the better. To explore how hypnotherapy or counselling could benefit, contact me for advice or to arrange a consultation.

Reacting is automatic. Responding is a skill, and like any skill it gets stronger with practice. It doesn't mean swallowing your feelings. It means feeling them, settling your body, and coming back to your partner from a calmer place. You won't get it right every time, and every pause still counts.

Burnout has some well-known signs:

Exhaustion - can’t find your energy no matter what

brain fog - clarity eludes you, easily distracted

Disconnection - hard to connect with people or projects

Overwhelm - everything feels jumbled together and too much

Some signs are less obvious - but just as important:

Snapping faster - when little things make you lose it.

Struggling to care - what used to be important no longer is

Feeling flat - like living a shade of gray

Forgetting simple things - when your brain is just too overloaded

Low patience - high irritation if your expectations aren’t immediately met

Waking up drained - when your energy is depleted even before the day begins

Dreading small tasks - even little things feel daunting and too much

Showing up still - feeling like a robot, but still trying to get it all done.

Know that it can get better. Clearly, there has to be a shift - your body and mind are trying to tell you that this pattern is no longer working.

The good news is:

ā€œWith the right support, your nervous system can heal, your capacity can return, and life can stop feeling this relentlessly heavy.ā€ Dr. Linnea Passaler

The first step is to recognize what’s actually going on…

How has burnout shown up for you?

Drop a 🩶 if you recognize any of the signs.
