Today I did a little butterfly for this lovely lady’s first tattoo, and before we started she said something that really made me think.
“Not many tattoo artists will tattoo older skin.”
That made me a little sad, because I don’t see it that way at all! Sometimes skin can play a part in the procedure, you have to be a bit more careful as the skin may be thinner and easier to overwork. However, tattoos aren’t just for a certain age and older skin deserves the same care, respect, and beautiful artwork as any other.

You’re never too old for a tattoo❣️
