What a gorgeous week ☀️

🌍 Earth day yesterday bringing a touch of focus to our yoga reminding us that connection to nature is our simplest & most beautiful medicine for our wellbeing. 🧘‍♀️

How complicated us little humans make it sometimes 😝

✨Sound healing - bringing the vibrations in a
💫 1:2:1 capacity,
💫 a private group booking &
💫 a group Sound Bath tomorrow.

So my sound journey is just over a year’s diploma. That sounds super long I feel some of you think, but I’m learning the skills & knowledge to use sound for individual healing. That’s the difference.

Sound can create dissonance and harmony in us. Played properly will tailor people’s experience to their intended outcome. It can be super transformative & healing working with a sound practitioner.

It’s a complete wonder & a beauty & I’m nearly there.

I’m looking for 4 individual case studies who can, from mid-May give me an hour a week, for 4 weeks for the 1:2:1 sound healing. I’m also looking for 3 groups to offer me their time for 60 mins as a case study for the sound baths.

Please drop me a line if interested & see those that are coming to the Group Sound Bath tomorrow 10-11 with a journal, something to write with and maybe an extra blanket or hoodie.

Happy New Year 🥳 (slightly belated)

If the idea of New Year’s Resolutions doesn’t gel, look at the subtle difference of Sankalpas in the yoga tradition.

The difference between Sankalpa & a New Year’s resolution:

SANKALPA
Deep, heartfelt yogic intention rooted in self-acceptance & purpose

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION
Often an ego-driven decision from a place of lack

STEPS TO CREATE YOUR PERSONAL SANKALPA:
1. Ask: what quality do I need or want in my life right now?
2. Phrase this in the present tense. Make it positive & short eg I choose calm, I have self-compassion in all I do
3. Personalise it eg I am grounded even when everything around ME is changing
4. Test it - if it feels too far fetched soften it & lean in eg I am open to feeling calm OR I learning to welcome in more joy

This resonates so nicely with me as it keeps you returning to alignment with your self. It can be done at all times & whenever you practice not just on Jan 1st x
