We hear a lot about nervous system dysregulation.

The anxiety.
The overwhelm.
The racing thoughts.
The feeling of being constantly on edge.

But what about a regulated nervous system?

Not because regulation means feeling calm all the time and because difficult emotions disappear.

It’s often much more about having enough inner stability to meet life as it is.

Have you noticed any of these qualities in yourself recently? 💙

How much of your selfworth is tied to your productivity?

In a culture that celebrates achievement, growth, and constant progress, it's easy to believe that our value depends on what we accomplish.

But what happens when success becomes exhausting?

On Saturday 20th June, we're inviting you to pause, reflect, and explore a different way forward at our online retreat:

The Art of Success Through Mindfulness & Compassion

Led by Elaine and Tommaso, this special retreat explores how mindfulness and compassion can help us develop a healthier relationship with achievement, ambition, and the pressure to always be doing more.

Through mindfulness practices, self-compassion, reflection, and inner support, you'll be invited to soften your relationship with outcomes and reconnect with a deeper sense of wholeness within yourself.

✔ Open to everyone
✔ Counts towards CPD and teacher training portfolios
✔ Recording included if you can't attend live
✔ One of our few Saturday retreats, scheduled in response to community demand

Join us on 20th June.

I've been keeping a secret from you all… and I genuinely cannot keep it in any longer!

Today, I get to share something that has been living in my heart for a very long time.

My second book, The Compassionate Mindful Resilience Programme Workbook, will officially launch on 21st October 2026!

This moment means more to me than I can easily put into words. The CMR began from something deeply personal, a relationship with mindfulness and compassion that started back in my early 20s, rooted in yoga and breath awareness, growing through my years as a nurse, as a teacher, and through every messy, beautiful, difficult moment of real life across decades of practice.

In 2020, all of that learning crystallised into the Compassionate Mindful Resilience Programme. I believed so fiercely in what it could do for people, for ordinary, busy, overwhelmed people.

And now, six years on from the programme launch, this workbook brings it all together in a way I couldn't be more proud of.

This isn't just another mindfulness book. It's something people can pick up again and again on the difficult days, the overwhelming days, the uncertain days and find their way back to themselves.

And I have to say a very special thank you to some of the incredible members of our community who contributed their own poems to this workbook. Who are about to become published poets!

So much of the MindfulnessUK community has been woven into the fabric of this programme and this book. You have all played a part in making this real and I don't take that lightly. Thank you.

And of course we are absolutely going to celebrate and you're all invited!

Save the date: Tuesday 4th November 2026 in Somerset
I would love nothing more than to celebrate with you in person but I also know that our community is wonderfully international, so we will be celebrating live online too. More details coming very soon but please do save the date now!

You can RSVP here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/compassionate-mindful-resilience-programme-workbook-book-launch-evening-tickets-1990761640657

Pre-orders of the book aren't available quite yet but the moment they are, you will be the first to know.

For now, I'm just going to take a breath, place a hand on my heart, and really let this land.

Thank you

Thinking about training as a mindfulness teacher?

Most people focus just on the teacher training.
But every teacher starts in exactly the same place: by experiencing the programme for themselves.

That's why Compassionate Mindful Resilience (CMR) is the first step in our teacher training pathway.

Over four weeks, you'll explore practical mindfulness and compassion based tools that support resilience, emotional wellbeing and self-awareness, while also gaining a firsthand experience of the programme you'll need to complete before progressing to teacher training.

Because of the interest we've received, we've extended enrolment for our June courses and have both afternoon and evening options available.

Whether you're:
🌿 Exploring a future in mindfulness teaching
🌿 Looking to deepen your personal practice
🌿 Supporting others through coaching, wellbeing, healthcare, education or leadership
🌿 Curious about bringing more compassion and resilience into your life
CMR offers an accessible and practical place to begin.

“The CMR course is trauma-informed, accessible and means I can offer a shorter 4-week course to my clients, often busy women, juggling work and home life, with a multitude of caring responsibilities.”

Many mindfulness practitioners deeply value traditional programmes like MBSR, whilst also recognising that modern life often requires something more accessible, flexible and adaptable.

👉 Shorter practices.
👉 Trauma-informed approaches.
👉 Compassion woven throughout.

Tools that can realistically support people living with stress, overwhelm and competing responsibilities.

We’re incredibly grateful to our trainee for sharing her experience so openly.
If you’ve been considering mindfulness teacher training, or expanding the ways you support clients, we’d love to welcome you. 🌿

Many people with ADHD don’t struggle because they’re “bad at mindfulness”. They struggle because a lot of mindfulness advice was never designed for fast moving minds.

We’re hosting a free webinar exploring a more ADHD friendly approach to mindfulness, compassion & self-regulation.

This session will explore:
• ADHD, attention & nervous system patterns
• Why shorter practices can feel more workable
• Self-compassion for shame & self-criticism
• Simple tools for emotional awareness and self-regulation
• Practical examples you can use straight away

Last Saturday, we gathered at Wimbleball Lake in Exmoor with a small group of people who gave themselves something rare: a full day away from the noise.

Karen and Angie led the day through guided practice, time outdoors, and the kind of shared space that's hard to put into words but easy to feel.

There's something about being in a group of people all choosing to slow down together.

Thank you to everyone who came and trusted us with your day. It was a privilege to hold that space for you. 🌿

One of the most common things we hear from mindfulness teachers is that the work can feel isolating.

You're holding space for other people, often on your own, without much support around you.

The CMR pathway was designed with that in mind. Community isn't a bonus feature, it's woven into how the training works from the start.

Peer support, shared practice, and a network of teachers who are building something alongside you.
