It's been a busy and enjoyable time for everyone, with lots of opportunities to learn new skills, have fun, and get out into the community. 🌟

Zoe has been making the most of her annual Noah's Ark Zoo Farm membership, enjoying visits to see the animals and explore everything the zoo has to offer. She has also been dancing the night away at the disco and continuing to develop her cooking skills in the kitchen. 🦒🪩🍳

Steve recently enjoyed a fantastic day out at Bristol Zoo Project with his support staff, Mia and Jordan. It was a great opportunity to spend time outdoors, see some amazing wildlife, and create wonderful memories together. 🐻🌿

Meanwhile, Paul has been building his confidence in the kitchen by making a delicious stew with support from his staff. Learning practical cooking skills is a great way to promote independence while having fun and enjoying the results! 🥘👏

It's wonderful to see everyone embracing new experiences, developing skills, and enjoying activities that bring them happiness and confidence.

Your contribution is invaluable, and we recognise the difference you make, often while facing your own challenges.

This year’s theme focuses on building carer-friendly communities - reminding carers that they are not alone, and that support, advice and guidance is available.

We've had another wonderful week filled with independence, community activities, and plenty of smiles!

Paul enjoyed a relaxing morning, making his own breakfast and spending some time reading a good book. 📚🍳

Zoe headed out for a shopping trip and enjoyed browsing the local shops. 🛍️

Rachel made the most of the lovely weather with a walk along the beautiful beach in Weymouth. 🌊🚶‍♀️

Meanwhile, Natasha had a fantastic time at the Burnham Party in the Park, enjoying the atmosphere, entertainment, and fun with the community. 🎉☀️

It's great to see everyone enjoying activities that matter to them and making the most of their day!

☀️ Making the most of the sunshine! ☀️

It's been a lovely few days enjoying the great outdoors. Steve has been out and about, taking in the beautiful scenery and fresh air at Doniford Farm and Wimbleball Lake, making the most of the wonderful summer weather. 🌳🌞

Meanwhile, one of the young ladies we support spent some special time grooming a pony, enjoying the calming experience of connecting with animals and building confidence through hands-on interaction. 🐴💛

Whether it's exploring the countryside, spending time with animals, or simply enjoying the sunshine, these meaningful moments help create lasting memories and support wellbeing.

Three cheers for Realise! 🎉

We had an amazing time celebrating our fantastic colleagues at the recent 2026 Somerset Care Awards, being shortlisted in no less than 5 categories!

Big congratulations to our incredible team members:

We also celebrated a joint Collaboration Award win with our colleagues at Halcon Centre - Somerset Care !

It was truly a day filled with immense pride, laughter, and maybe a few tears. Congrats to the whole team – we couldn't be prouder to work alongside you! 💪❤️

🌞 Rowena’s Wonderful Holiday 🌞

Rowena recently enjoyed a fantastic holiday at Devon Cliffs, where she spent a full week making special memories and taking part in lots of exciting activities. ❤️

Her staff shared:
“Ro had a lovely holiday at Devon Cliffs. She was there for a week, she has done loads of different activities and enjoyed every single one.”

It’s wonderful to see Rowena smiling, having fun, and making the most of every moment during her well-deserved break! ✨

We’ve had such a wonderful time out and about enjoying the sunshine, community activities, and making special memories together this week ☀️💙

Steve has been enjoying the beautiful sunshine by the sea. 🌊

Clare, Zoe, Andrew, Jess and Donna had a fantastic pottery painting session at Huish House with Lowes Pottery Painting, getting creative and having lots of fun 🎨

Tash and Liliana enjoyed a lovely trip to Bristol Aquarium, followed by a ride on the Observation Wheel, which Tash especially loved 🎡🐠

Andrew also had a relaxing day out in Seaton. ☀️🌊

Hugh had a brilliant visit to Bristol Zoo Project, enjoying seeing all the amazing animals 🦒

Susie and her support worker Kerry had a lovely morning together heading out for a cup of tea. Driving across the levels brought lots of laughter 😂🐄

We’ve had some wonderful days out recently, full of fun, laughter, and new memories 😊🌞

Donna enjoyed a lovely trip to Doniford Farm, taking in the sights and enjoying the fresh air🐑🚜

Tash had a fantastic time at the Picnic in Burnham with lots of dancing and smiles all around 💃🎶 Stuart was also showing off his dance moves, while Hugh, Donna, Sophie, and Andrew all had a lovely time together enjoying the day.

Tash also enjoyed a fun-filled morning at Taunton Bowling 🎳 followed by games in the arcades, making it a day packed with excitement and laughter.

Les visited Puxton Park Tourist Attraction with his support worker Natalya and had a wonderful time feeding the animals and exploring the park 🐐🐓

It’s been fantastic seeing everyone enjoying themselves, staying active, and making special memories together ❤️

It’s been another fantastic week of getting out and about! 🌿☀️

Zoe enjoyed a lovely visit to Ferne Animal Sanctuary , while Clare spent time exploring the beautiful Vivary Park. 🐾🌸

Andrew had a brilliant time out on the rickshaw, so much so that he preferred cycling himself! 🚴‍♂️

Rowena enjoyed a trip to Shepton Mallet, and Robin made the most of the fresh air with a walk up Brean Down. 🌊

So many wonderful moments, experiences, and smiles all around! 🥰

Sophie attended a wonderful music session at Hestercombe House and also enjoyed a visit to Puxton Park. 🎶

Steve made the most of the sunshine in Cheddar, soaking up the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. 🌞

Simon had a fantastic trip to Avalon Marshes, also showing great independence while out shopping. 👏

Tash had a lovely day at Bristol Zoo, and has been busy at home too—tidying her garden and getting her summer clothes ready. 🌸

So many positive moments, experiences, and achievements to celebrate! 🤩
