In the last few days I have been reflecting on the many gatherings I have facilitated over the years. For many years I held an in person weekly circle where meditation and many areas of spirituality were the focus. We shared experiences, worked with intuition, divination and so much more. When Covid came, and we could no longer meet in person, Zoom became the way to connect and I started the women's group "The Orange Tent" . Here we gathered as women to share our wisdom and talents and to support each other especially during a time of separation.
In 2019 I was to experience gatherings in a more expansive and life changing way. I was part of a gathering in Pisac, Peru of thirteen Grandmothers from different indigenous backgrounds and learning, and 560 women mainly from South America. It was an awakening and a new chapter in my life, where the shamanic connection became more and more a part of my life.
On returning home I started a new group, Sisters Gathering, and at the same time Mama Cacao entered my life. Sisters Gathering is a group for women where we gather in person to experience a themed cacao ceremony each month and to share and support each other through deep connection, meditation and ritual. I also facilitate a similar online Cacao ceremony each month .
In November 2025 I was very blessed once again to attend a gathering of Grandmothers in Mexico, this time from both South and North America. I have gained so much from the teachings of the Grandmothers, but also from the connection with other cultures, as well as new and lasting friendships with women from different countries.
Over the years I have met many beautiful souls, many of whom I still meet with regularly, and others who hold the connection from further away. The thread that binds is still very strong. I am very blessed to have been able to facilitate these opportunities for building community. I hope to continue this work in whichever way I am guided.
