A little treatment day off nourishment today…

I cycled over to the Physic Garden in Chelsea, arriving between rain showers and bursts of sunshine. There was something so restorative about slowing down, wandering among the herbs and plants, feeling the rain on my skin one moment and the warmth of the sun the next.

As therapists, we’re often holding space for others, tending, listening and caring. Days like this remind me how important it is to receive some of that care ourselves… to pause, breathe, move gently and reconnect with the simple things.

Nature has a way of bringing us back to ourselves.

Today, my self-care looked like a bike ride, a garden, a little rain, a little sunshine, and some precious time to simply be.

What does self-care look like for you this week?

A little cup of care… when the body is asking for rest and warmth 🌿✨

This golden blend has been my go-to… I’ve been making it for family while they haven’t been feeling great, and it’s honestly made a massive impact…

Turmeric, ginger, cayenne, black pepper… with coconut milk and a touch of honey… the depth of flavour, the warmth, the heat… it really lands in the body… supporting aches, fevers, and that overall heavy feeling…

Alongside this… a little willow bark for traditional support with pain and discomfort…

Some of these ingredients are part of my own Ayurvedic and cultural practices… especially turmeric with black pepper… adding willow bark was new for me…

Thank you to Dr Sam Watts for the blend suggestion it’s a good one…

Sometimes it’s not about doing more… just offering the body something simple and nourishing…

A day spent learning the slow craft of spoon carving. 🪵

The green wood was freshly cut just days before, still soft and full of life. We began by learning how to work safely with the knives, how to hold the wood and guide the blade with care and respect.

Then we carved.

Gradually each spoon began to take shape as the wood was worked away bit by bit. Much of the day for me was spent in quiet focus, everyone also absorbed in their own piece, yet sharing the space together.

There were lovely chats too, people sharing how their spoons were progressing, learning from one another, encouraging each other along the way. Slow paced, yet vibrant.

Hands working. Mind softening. Time slowing.

A simple reminder of how nourishing it is to slow down, work with natural materials, and create something with your hands.

Thank you Sivi and for creating such a thoughtful and beautiful day of craft, nature and connection. It was also really lovely to spend some time with and enjoy the day together. 🌿

✨ A few moments from our last New Moon face massage gathering for women.

🌑 New Moon Gathering – Sunday 22nd | 7–9pm contribution £10

Just after the New Moon, we gather in a gentle circle to slow down, soften and reconnect.

The New Moon is traditionally a time for rest, nourishment and quiet intention — a moment to pause before the next cycle begins.

Together we sit comfortably on cushions, melting into the evening while exploring simple face and head massage, using nourishing creams and oils.

By request from someone who joined one of our evenings, we’ll also share a simple nighttime ritual for relaxation and better sleep, including soothing touch and a few calming pressure points to help settle the body before bed.

A quiet, nurturing space to breathe, receive and reset.

If you feel called to join us, you’re warmly welcome.
Message me to reserve your place.

Rebozo Gathering

It’s taken me a few weeks to share this.

Not because I didn’t want to …
but because I’ve been quietly processing what a beautiful weekend it was when women came together to explore Rebozo transformational bodywork.

The Rebozo is a traditional Mexican woven cloth used in bodywork to support the body through gentle rocking, holding and re-balancing.

It’s simple.
And deeply powerful.

Rebozo transformational bodywork is about reconnecting with yourself … especially through life transitions, menopause, emotional holding, trauma, or the pressures we carry in modern life.

During the workshop we worked in small circles.

One woman rested in the cloth.
Two women held and rocked.
Another witnessed.

A gentle rhythm began.

Side to side.
Back and forth.
Slow enough for the breath to follow.

These are some glimpses from that day.

Work like this weaves deeply into the massage and treatments I offer every day … helping women soften, release and come back to themselves.
