🌞 OUR FRIDAYS ARE GETTING EVEN BETTER! 🌞

We’re so pleased to welcome a new gentleman to our Friday group at Sunshine Care & Support Services! 💙

It’s wonderful to see our little community growing, with everyone enjoying plenty of laughter, conversation, activities and, most importantly, good company. 🥰☕🎨🎶

Our days are beginning to fill up fast, which really shows just how much services like ours are needed within the local community.

Our day centre can be a great option for people who may struggle being at home alone during the day, particularly while family members are working or simply need some well-deserved respite. ❤️

We provide a small, friendly and safe environment for people living with: 🧠 Dementia or Alzheimer’s
💜 Cognitive impairments or memory difficulties
🤝 Social isolation or loneliness
🏡 Anyone who would benefit from companionship, routine and a welcoming place to spend their day

You do not need to have a diagnosis to attend. Sometimes simply having somewhere to go, people to talk to and something to look forward to can make such a difference. 🌻

If you have a parent, partner, relative or friend who you feel could benefit from joining our little Sunshine family, please get in touch. Spaces are becoming limited as our days fill up. ☀️💛

🐟💛 FISH FRIDAY = LADIES’ DAY AT SUNSHINE! 💛🐟

What a lovely few Fridays we’ve had at Sunshine Care & Support Services Day Centre! ☀️

Fridays have very quickly become known as our Ladies’ Day 👩‍🦳💕 — and we absolutely love it!

Our lovely ladies have been keeping busy over the last few weeks with lots of laughing, chatting, activities, games, music and plenty of cups of tea ☕🎶🎨… all topped off with our Fish Friday! 🐟🍟

For us, the day centre is about so much more than simply somewhere to spend the day. It’s about friendship, companionship, having something to look forward to and, most importantly, having FUN! 💃🥰

There’s always plenty of laughter when our Friday ladies get together — and we’d love to welcome some new faces to the group. ❤️

🌻 We still have plenty of spaces available on Fridays, so if you know a lady who could benefit from getting out of the house, meeting new people and enjoying a relaxed and friendly day with us, please get in touch.

📺💛 A HUGE THANK YOU! 💛📺

We would like to say a massive thank you to one of our absolutely lovely lady Sandy Dodson for her incredibly generous donation of a brand-new 50-inch TV to our dementia day centre! 🥰

We are so grateful for such a thoughtful and generous gift. Our ladies and gentlemen will now be able to enjoy watching their favourite programmes, films, old classics, music and much more together. 🎬🎶☕️

It’s wonderful gestures like this that help make our day centre feel even more like a home from home, where everyone can relax, socialise and enjoy time together. ❤️

What a lovely week we’ve had at our Day Centre! 🥰

We’ve enjoyed lots of fun, games, laughter, activities and plenty of cups of tea! ☕🎲🎶 And we’ve been delighted to welcome a new lady to our Sunshine family this week. 💐

It’s wonderful to see everyone chatting, interacting, building friendships and genuinely enjoying their time together. Seeing new friendships form is exactly what our Day Centre is all about. ❤️
