🏊‍♂️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Taking on Ironman Tenby? Don’t forget your feet!🦶

Your feet work incredibly hard throughout the swim, bike and run, so looking after them can make a big difference on race day.

A few simple tips:

👣 Keep your feet dry where possible – change socks if they become wet and use good-quality, breathable socks.

🧴 Prevent rubbing – use an appropriate anti-chafing product on areas prone to friction and make sure your footwear fits well.

👟 Don’t wear brand-new shoes on race day – your trainers should be well worn-in and comfortable.

✂️ Keep toenails trimmed – but avoid cutting them too short just before the event.

🩹 Deal with hot spots early – if you feel rubbing or a blister developing, don't ignore it. Address it as soon as you can.

And finally, don't introduce anything new on race day. Stick with footwear, socks and products you've already tested during your training.

Good luck to everyone taking on IRONMAN Wales in Tenby! 💪🏅 Look after those feet and enjoy every mile! 🦶❤️
