Not all shockwave therapy is the same.
While both radial and focused shockwave can play a role in treating musculoskeletal conditions, they're designed for different purposes. Focused shockwave is often used for certain tendon conditions, while radial shockwave may be more appropriate for muscle tightness, trigger points and some soft tissue problems.
The important thing is that you don't need to work out which treatment you need, that's our job. Following a thorough assessment, we'll recommend the treatment that's most appropriate for your condition, if shockwave therapy is suitable for you.
