Seborrhoeic keratoses are harmless growths on the skin caused by an excess build-up of the ordinary skin cells. 
They are frequently found on the trunk, and usually start to appear after the age of 30.
They are extremely common; almost everyone older than 50 has 1 or 2, some people have many such warts.
