A foggy start to the day that got me thinking about writing this post. Apologies that I have been quiet on here for a while, as some of you know I have had a lot going on personally and my mind has been elsewhere. But, I like to think that the fog is lifting and I am trying my utmost to look for daily glimmers ✨ small reminders that the biggest joys come from the simplest of pleasures.
My yoga practice never lets me down and has reminded me that inner strength is built on the pillars of yoga that have guided me for so many years.
Santosha (contentment), practising gratitude for what you have and accepting the present moment without needing more.
Aparigraha (non-possession) letting go of the things in your life that don’t serve you.
Two seemingly simple acts, yet often so difficult to uphold. Still, they continue to gently guide my focus towards what truly matters as I move forward.
Thank you all for being my shining light in what’s felt like a dark & gloomy couple of months 🙏🏻 and if any of you are going through a difficult time please know that you are not alone. When life feels heavy and unclear, the fog does eventually begin to lift. Be gentle with yourself. Take it one breath, one step, one small glimmer at a time ✨ 😘 🙏🏻
(I wanted to use Cleo Sol’s Airplane as the audio track on this post but it’s sadly not available so have a listen if you can) ###
