Need to see a dentist? We have availability this week for emergencies, and for oral health maintenance with our hygienist. We also have space with Victoria, our amazing osteopath and reflexologist.

It's really refreshing to see articles like this in mainstream news. Contrary to how we're sometimes treated, our bodies are not a series of disparate parts but a complex system where what happens in one area can and does affect another. One of the most important things you can do to support your health is make regular visits to the hygienist. This is not about 'clean teeth' (although you get that too) but about your oral health in support of overall health, which is why our appointments with Fiona and Ellie are known as oral health maintenance. Hygienists and dental therapists are specially trained in this and it's not the same as a dental checkup. This work is so important that our partner clinic, Wello Dental Wellness, focuses specifically on oral health services.

Scientists are discovering more and more associations between poor oral health and everything from heart disease to dementia. But can flossing and brushing properly guarantee a longer life?
