JOIN OUR TEAM!

Our 5-star rated clinic has seen exceptional growth since we opened our doors in July 2025. We regularly run at 100% capacity and often have to take the decision to close our diary to new bookings📈

However, we want to be able to continue to provide our first-class service to those who need it, whenever they need it. So it’s time to grow the team🚀

We are looking for a highly motivated and forward-thinking Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. You’ll be expected to build lasting relationships with your patients as you gain a deep understanding of their story before playing your own part. Your mission will be clear; take those who place their trust in us from pain to performance.

This role provides an excellent entry point into a business with an exciting future - with those who excel placing themselves in a strong position for future opportunities.

Head to the link in our bio, or visit Indeed, for further details on how to apply. Any further questions then please drop us a message.

STOP STRETCHING, START STRENGTHENING🏋🏽‍♂️

If we ignore acute injuries from trauma, then the likelihood is that your back pain is due to an inability to cope with the load you are exposing it to!

If something is weak and keeps breaking down, then the only solution is to strengthen it.

Whilst the endless stretching, hour-long mobility routine, and foam roller is good for pain relief. If it’s the only rehab you’ve been doing 4-6 weeks down the line then the likelihood is your symptoms will either persist, or quickly return.

Unsure where to go when to comes to strengthening your back? Let us help you get lasting results. It may only take one of our FREE ASSESSMENTS to provide you with a clear path forwards and true clarity on the problem.

Sound interesting? Comment “REHAB” below and I’ll personally reach out to you.

Struggling with recurring shoulder pain? Here are some of my favourite exercises that I’d recommend you try.

As someone who previously played rugby, had multiple shoulder dislocations and eventually surgery, these are some of the key movements that helped me become pain free and trust my shoulders again!

Give them a go and let us know how you get on.

Want to get to the root cause of your shoulder pain? Comment “REHAB” and I’ll personally reach out with some free advice.

FIVE EASY TESTS FOR RUNNERS🏃🏽‍♂️

Last week we released a video talking about the importance of testing in rehab.

Here are five tests/metrics we’ve used with hundreds of our patients to have the confidence they can return to running, pain free. Three of them are easy to do at home!

Set a metronome to 50 beats per minute & see if you can perform the following:

1) Single Leg Chair Squat
2) Single Leg Calf Raise
3) Single Leg Foot Elevated Bridge

Go up and down on each beat, aiming for 25 reps (30 if you want to be certain!)

The results may surprise you!

Struggling with pain or injuries everytime you run? Comment “RUN” and we will personally reach out with more advice.

❌ TOP 5 COMMON TREATMENT MISTAKES ❌

Your Rehab Isn’t Hard/Progressive Enough

If we remove acute injuries from direct trauma or an incident, then the majority of musculoskeletal injuries occur through overload. In other words, your body isn’t resilient enough to withstand whatever you are putting it through.

Therefore once pain is under control, the only way to not only improve but to ensure injury doesn’t return, is to come back stronger and more resilient than before.

Think of it this way; those 3x10 sets of isometric shoulder flexion once a week isn’t going to build enough resilience to carry 50kg of weight back and forth for 6-9 hours a day as a labourer!

Hence the need for progressive rehab, and training which is hard work!

If you’re tired of feeling like your current rehab is taking you nowhere, comment “REHAB” below and I’ll personally reach out.

A lack of testing!

The amazing thing in the world of Physiotherapy at this moment is how quick clinicians are to tell you “how complex pain is” and how many different systems play a part in an individuals pain experience… Yet they then go on to use it as their sole outcome measure and whether someone is ready to progress!

It just doesn’t make sense. And that is where testing comes in.

We use testing & trust the data to drive forward your treatment. Whether it is capacity based movement assessments or utilising our dynamometry equipment. This helps us find out where you are currently at, and gives us an idea of what we need to work on in order to make strides forward through your rehab.

Re-testing then provides the reassurance as to whether your rehab is actually working or not! As well as giving us confidence that you’ve earnt the right to progress.

As the saying goes; if you aren’t testing, then you’re simply guessing.

If you’re tired of performing your rehab blind, and haven’t had any testing done to see whether your heading in the right direction or not, comment “REHAB” below and I’ll personally reach out.

Over-reliance on Manual Therapy

Full transparency: I love manual therapy. I think it’s one of the best and most powerful treatment modalities that a clinician can have in their treatment toolbox (when used for the right reasons!)

The issue? A scattergun approach applied far too often and usually as the only method of treatment. That is why you leave the clinic feeling great, but the symptoms keep returning.

Reality check: Those 60-minute appointments - where your therapist throws everything at you from mobilizations and manipulations to acupuncture, cupping therapy, and massage guns - are going to do VERY LITTLE to improve an injury sustained because you weren’t fit, strong, or mobile enough to tolerate what you’re exposing your body to.

What does it do? It creates a lovely window of opportunity: a short timeframe of reduced pain. Use it to nail the rehab, or else you’re wasting your time.

If you’re tired of recurring pain and ready to get to the root cause of your injury, comment “REHAB” below and I’ll personally reach out.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s video for common mistake number four!
