I realised something today...

When I pictured a successful holiday, I didn't think about the scales once.

I thought about spending quality time with Mark, enjoying beautiful restaurants, breathing in fresh sea air, walking along the beach, visiting gardens, exploring pretty villages, and making memories together.

For so long, I've measured success by the number on the scales. But maybe success is also about feeling calm, present, and enjoying life.

My weight loss journey hasn't been perfect lately. I've had moments of doubt, frustration, and disappointment. But instead of focusing on what I've done wrong, I'm choosing to focus on what truly matters.

This holiday isn't about being a certain weight.
It's about rest, connection, fresh air, new experiences, and coming home feeling refreshed and ready for the next chapter.

Sometimes the goal isn't to be smaller.

Sorry I’ve not really kept up with this page lately… but now it’s time to change that 💪✨

As many of you know, I previously achieved an amazing 3 stone weight loss 🎉

But being completely honest, I’ve put around 1 stone back on recently.

Stress, tiredness, and life getting busy have definitely played a part — and I know so many people can relate to that.

But here’s the thing… I’m not giving up.
May is my fresh start 🌸

One thing I know will help me massively is getting back into meal prep and having healthy food ready to go instead of grabbing whatever’s easiest when I’m tired.

This journey isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress, consistency, and getting back on track one step at a time ❤️

It’s so easy to rush from one thing to the next, but I’m pressing pause to actually check in with where I’m at in this big, beautiful adventure called life.

Before I can figure out where I’m going next, I’ve got to take a good look at where I am right now — and build from there. 🌱

Let’s talk weight loss 📉💪

The science of losing weight is simple:
Consume fewer calories than you burn 🔥 = calorie deficit = weight loss.

But… here’s the thing.
We’re not robots. 🤖 We’re human.

We have thoughts, feelings, and old habits built into our subconscious “operating system.” When life throws situations at us, our brain often defaults to the patterns we’ve used before — even if they no longer serve us.

Sound familiar?
If you’ve tried to lose weight, I’m willing to bet you’ve been there… or you will be.

Here’s what helps me:
✅ Weekly food plan — healthy, nutritious, tasty meals prepped and ready in the fridge.
✅ Awareness — when I feel those old habits creeping in, I pause and journal how I’m feeling.
(If I don’t have my journal, I use my phone 📱. I love Evernote — free, works on both phone and PC.)
✅ Food journal — keeps me accountable, helps me spot patterns, and lets me course-correct when needed.

Weight loss isn’t just about food — it’s about rewiring how we think and respond.
And that’s where the real change happens.

I’ve officially lost 2 stone 💪 and decided to celebrate with a fresh haircut and colour. 💇‍♀️✨

Little rewards like this keep me motivated and remind me how far I’ve come.
Progress deserves celebration — not just when you hit the “big goal,” but along the way too.

I’m physically and mentally exhausted right now — and that’s a tough headspace to lose weight from. When I’m tired, it’s so easy to drift back to those “comfort foods” that… well, don’t exactly help with my goals.

That’s why food planning and preparation are my secret weapons.
If I’ve got nutritious, healthy, tasty meals already prepped, then my “automatic” choice is the one that fuels my body instead of sabotaging it. Win 🏆 for me!

My journal is another lifesaver — I can see 👀 exactly what I’m doing, stay accountable, and give myself little high-fives along the way.

Here’s what I’ve eaten so far today — and guess what? Still sitting on 0 syns! 🙌

✅ Healthy Extra A & B covered with some delicious bread & cheese
✅ Ham – totally free!
✅ Salad – packed full of speed food 🥗
✅ Fruit bowl 🍓🥝 – mostly speed with a few free goodies thrown in

Feeling full, focused, and totally on plan 💪
It’s amazing what you can eat when you’re making smart choices and still stay within your goals!

✨️ Good morning, lovely people!

After yesterday’s epic weight loss 📉 (still doing a little happy dance 💃), I’ve got my eyes firmly set on the next goal — that shiny 2½ stone award! 🏆💖

To make it happen, I need to lose 4½ pounds (or more — go big or go home, right?).

So… how am I going to do it?

✔️ Stick to the plan
✔️ Keep my meals healthy, nutritious and delicious 🥗😋
✔️ Stay mindful when my sneaky subconscious tries to wander off the path 👣

It’s going to take focus, determination 💪 and a whole lotta self-belief — but guess what? I’ve got the tools, mindset, and grit to make it happen. 🔧👑
