Yoga isn’t just stretching — it became a way for me to reconnect with my body. 🧘‍♀️✨

Before I started practising yoga, I didn’t realise how much stress and difficult experiences I seemed to be carrying physically. I had become so used to tension, being constantly switched on, and moving through life in survival mode that it felt normal.

Yoga helped me slow down and notice what was happening in my body. Through movement, breath, and stillness, I started to feel my nervous system settle and realised I’d been spending more time in fight-or-flight mode than I thought.

For me, yoga created space to process, soften, and let go of things I hadn’t fully acknowledged before. That experience felt like releasing emotions and tension I’d been holding onto for a long time.

Everyone’s experience is different, but yoga reminded me that healing isn’t only mental — sometimes the body needs attention too. 🌿

💕👗 Are you a chronic overthinker? 🤯
Sometimes our minds can spiral straight into fear, worry, stress and anxiety… often over situations that haven’t even happened.

One simple technique that can help is this 👇

Instead of battling the thoughts all day, jot them down as they come into your mind. Then set aside just 10 minutes at the end of the day to read through them.
You may notice:
✨ Some thoughts no longer feel as big
✨ Some never even happened
✨ Some are easier to solve when viewed calmly

Overthinking feeds on constant attention. Giving your thoughts a “time slot” can help you regain a little control instead of letting them control you 💛
Small steps. Small habits. Big difference.
