Our Wellbeing Walk will still be going ahead this morning! If the rain does start to show we'll be adjusting our plan to instead go to the Teatro Cafe inside the Princess Theatre for a coffee and chat. ☕

What a lovely morning walk! ☀️
Thanks to all who came to our Wellbeing Walk this morning. It was lovely to stroll along the coast and discuss local opportunities for wellbeing - including an exclusive look at Shekinahs autumn Learning Exchange guide!
Our next walk is on the 4th September, meeting from 10:15am outside the Princess Theatre. The walk is mostly flat and is a great opportunity to meet new people, so please do come along!

We're getting ready for our next wellbeing walk this Friday! 🚶‍♀️

It looks like it'll be a little cooler than last months walk, but make sure you still bring a water bottle and sun protection. We'll be meeting at 10:15am outside of the Princess Theatre, Torquay, to start walking at 10:30am towards Corbyns Head. It's a gentle, slow-paced walk and there are places to stop along the route, so anyone is welcome to come along and get some steps in.

We're considering improvements to pedestrian and cycle crossings at Abbey Gates Junction in Torquay and have launched a public consultation so that we can hear people’s views and experiences.

Our aim is to make the junction safer, more accessible and more convenient for everyone who uses it.

With seven roads meeting at the junction and no signalled pedestrian crossings, many people find it challenging to navigate, particularly at busy times.

Whether you travel through the area on foot, by bike, wheelchair or mobility aid, car or public transport, we want to hear from you.

We had our first wellbeing walk last Friday and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! It was so lovely to walk along the seafront and have a chat with some new faces.

The weather's looking bright and sunny for our first walking group meetup tomorrow! ☀️
We'll be meeting from 10:15am in front of the Princess Theatre, Torquay, and starting the walk at 10:30am. It's a gentle, slow-paced walk focused on connecting with others, having a chat, and looking at the gorgeous sea views.
All are welcome, just make sure you bring comfortable clothing, a bottle of water, and suncream given the forecast!

We're starting a new Walking Group!🚶‍♀️
As part of Ramblers we've started a new wellbeing walking group, run by our Health & Wellbeing Coaches Abi and Danni. This walk will run on the 1st Friday of the month, starting on the 3rd July. It's a gentle walk with a focus on social connection and getting back into exercise, and an optional café break at the end!

Key Details:
-On the 1st Friday of the month.
-Meet from 10:15am outside of Princess Theatre, Torquay.
-Walk starts at 10:30am.
-Circular route up to Corbyn's Head and back.
-The route is flat with a slight incline at the end. There are toilets and benches along the route.
-The nearest bus stop is Cary Parade.
-No need to sign up, just turn up on the day!
