35% of victims in NI are men, and there is not a single refuge space for them to escape abuse to. There are scarce services.

That needs to change.

We have the costed business case. We make a little progress every day. We need to get a refuge open, and increase services that are able to respond immediately a man reaches out.

This is not about taking away from womens services, Womens refuges are essential and must continue to be supported and protected. What we are asking for is recognition that male victims also exist, and deserve access to safety and support when they need it most, when they ask for it.
