Evolve 2026.
From student to teacher.
This weekend challenged me in ways people probably won’t fully see.
Travelling to Manchester to teach anatomy and movement, stepping into a space built by teachers I deeply respect, there was definitely a part of me questioning whether I was ready for it.
Self doubt has a way of creeping in when you care deeply about something. Especially when you feel like you’re stepping into big shoes left by people who’ve had a huge impact on others.
But this weekend reminded me that teaching isn’t about trying to be somebody else. It’s about bringing your own lived experience, your own perspective and your own energy into the room honestly.
I have huge respect for .tilston for believing in me & puttind me forward to take over from him this year. Filling the shoes of the man who helped start my transformative journey felt quite daunting. But if he believed then so should I.
To even be trusted to hold space within that environment means a lot to me.
And equally, I’m incredibly grateful to for trusting me to hold space withing something she's built was an honour I dont take lightly.
What made the weekend special wasn’t trying to appear perfect or overly polished. It was the conversations, the curiosity, the moments where things clicked for people through experience rather than memorisation.
Feeling over form.
Not strict postures.
Not a fixed practice.
But a reflection of the inner self.
I’m realising more and more that EMBRACE being human isn’t just a name. It’s the process of moving through fear, self doubt and uncertainty… and growing because of it.
Thank you to all the students for being so welcoming. It was a pleasure to move, learn & teach with you this weekend.
Still learning. Forever evolving.
