📍 Tresillian, TR2
🕒 Part-time | 28 hours per week

Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall is looking for an experienced, compassionate and reliable Female Complex Care Support Worker to join our Care Expert Team.

You’ll be part of a dedicated 2:1 care team, supporting a young person with complex care needs at home and out in the community.

This is a meaningful role for someone who is calm, patient, dependable and confident in care.

Hours include:
✅ 3.00pm – 8.00pm, four weekdays
✅ 10.00am – 6.00pm, Saturday or Sunday

You’ll need:
🚗 Previous care experience
🚗 Full UK driving licence
🚗 Access to a reliable car
🚗 Right to work in the UK

💻 Helping young people stay safe online

Yesterday, Sarah, our Area Manager for Children’s Services, and Luke, our Team Manager for Children’s Services, attended Online Safety Live in Truro at Cornwall County Hall.

The session was delivered by SWGfL, a leading online safety charity, and focused on how we can better support young people to use the internet safely and confidently.

Online safety is such an important part of supporting children and young people today, and we’re always looking for ways to keep learning, improving, and sharing knowledge across our teams.

A really valuable session for Sarah and Luke, and another great opportunity to bring learning back into our children’s services. 🌟

Today, Redruth comes together to celebrate Murdoch Day, our town’s largest annual community festival.

This special day honours William Murdoch, the famous inventor known for his pioneering work in gas lighting and steam technology, while also celebrating the amazing community spirit that makes Redruth so special.

Moments like this are what support is all about.

It’s not just the big milestones. It’s the new experiences, the smiles, the confidence-building, and being alongside someone as they try something for the very first time.

A lovely day, a lovely memory, and a reminder of how meaningful the little moments can be. 💙
