ShopMobilityUK ShopMobility UK co-ordinates a network of local ShopMobility centres which hire mobility scooters an ShopMobility UK is a non profit membership company.

Its members are shopmobility schemes based throughout the UK. They help those with mobility issues access their local town facilities in particular their high streets and shopping centers. ShopMobility UK schemes help those with temporary and permanent mobility problems from a broken leg, to those living with Arthritis or Fibromyalgia. You do not need to be a blue badge holder to use the service or be registered disabled. ShopMobility UK has website where you can locate your nearest scheme member. We recommend where possible to use a member as they adhere to the strict British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) Code of Practice which is Authorised by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI).

More than just equipment hire, this Buckinghamshire Council run service is a true community hub. The team works closely with council departments and local organisations — including Adult Social Care and Helping Hands — to support residents with mobility, wellbeing, accessibility, financial concerns and independent living. 🤝

They're active in the community too, attending health, wellbeing and community fairs, partnering with local groups, and hosting events that help people connect with the support and opportunities around them. 🌟

✅ Walkers for extra stability
✅ 3-wheel and 4-wheel mobility scooters

✅ Self-propelled, transit, powered and power-assisted wheelchairs

Short-term hire within Aylesbury town centre is free, with long-term hire available for events, holidays and beyond. 🌍
But the support doesn't stop there! The team also provides the following: ✨
🦮 Advice and support for hearing dog and medical assistance dog owners
🛡️ Safeguarding information and collaborative support
🚆 Guidance on accessible travel by coach and aeroplane

♿ This month's is... Aylesbury Shopmobility! 🎉 We're delighted to shine a spotlight on this fantastic centre, run by Buckinghamshire Council and a registered affiliate of ShopMobility UK. 🛒

📣 Exciting news — the team has recently moved to a brand new location, supported by local councillors! 🙌 The new venue sits within the Friars Square Shopping Centre car park with full disabled access, better bus and train links into the centre of Aylesbury, and more parking, meaning they can now support an even wider community. 🚌🚆

But Aylesbury Shopmobility is about so much more than equipment hire. It's a safe, welcoming and inclusive place where a friendly team helps people access their community with confidence, independence and peace of mind. 💙
