We keep coming back to the same thought: a year ago this was an idea and a lot of late nights. Tomorrow we represent it on a regional stage, alongside some of the best young businesses in the South West.

Because VYV began with a body that broke down while every test came back 'fine.' Our founder Maria left a career when her own nervous system gave out — and built the clinical recovery she couldn't find anywhere else.

Three sleeps to go 🎬

This Thursday we'll be at the Everyman in Bristol for the South West final of the UK StartUp Awards — a pink carpet, prosecco and popcorn, and the moment they announce Beauty, Health & Wellbeing StartUp of the Year.

We're going in proud whatever the envelope says. And if our name is called, the next stop is the UK National Final at Ideas Fest in September — the festival they call 'Glastonbury for Business.'

Quite a journey from a single belief — that recovery deserves a clinical home — to a national awards stage.

It means recovery taken seriously. While much of wellness sells quick fixes, we built The VYV Collective around something more clinical: real, measurable nervous system recovery for people who have been running on empty.

To be named a South West regional finalist in this category — among founders we admire — is a genuine honour. The final is this Thursday in Bristol.

The VYV Collective has been named a regional finalist for Beauty, Health & Wellbeing StartUp of the Year at the South West UK StartUp Awards 2026.

The regional final takes place on Thursday 11 June at the Everyman in Bristol — pink carpet, prosecco, and the moment our category is called. Win there, and we go through to the UK National Final at Ideas Fest in September.

Being shortlisted alongside this calibre of South West founders already means the world to our team. This one is for everyone who has trusted us with their recovery and cheered us on.
