Did you know? If you’re visiting Cornwall and run out of essential medication, your own GP practice may be able to send a prescription to a pharmacy near where you’re staying.

Need your prescription urgently?

If you're visiting Cornwall and you've run out of important medication you can speak to a local pharmacist who can help.

It's also worth calling your own GP as they can arrange for a prescription to be sent to a chemist near you.

Sunburn can happen quickly especially in children, and even mild sunburn can be painful. ☀️

If your child’s skin feels hot, sore or starts peeling after time in the sun, there are simple things you can do to help at home, including taking a cool shower, keeping hydrated and using after sun.

But, if your child develops blistering, feels unwell, dizzy, shivery, or has a high temperature, it’s important to seek advice. Severe sunburn can lead to heat exhaustion or heatstroke.

Find out how to treat sunburn and when to get help from NHS 111:
