children return to school 🏫
and routine begins to return for many, now is a lovely time to make a little space for you too.

Whether you’re joining us for the very first time, coming back after a break, or you’ve been with us all along, you’ll always find a warm welcome waiting. 🤗

No judgement. No need to be perfect. Just come as you are, take that first step, and let’s head into autumn together feeling positive, supported and ready for what’s ahead. 🍁✨

Today the amazing Archbishop Benson Slimming World members took on Pretty Muddy Race for Life… and what a day it was 💕

There was mud, laughter, teamwork, encouragement, determination and so much joy from start to finish. Every obstacle was tackled with smiles, support and true togetherness.

Watching everyone cheer each other on, lift one another up and cross that finish line was incredibly special. Today wasn’t just about the race, it was about friendship, courage, hope and believing in ourselves and each other ✨

I am so very proud of each and every one of you. You were all absolutely amazing 💖 Sarah xx

Unfortunately, the school currently has no power and the trees on site aren’t safe, so we won’t be able to use the school hall tomorrow.

Super proud of our men this morning 🙌
Tom collected his 1st award, Baz his 4.5st award, Shaun his 2st award and Mat his 14.5st award ❤️

We all had goose bumps this morning hearing how Baz has put his diabetes into remission and is now completely medication free 🫶 and only 1.5lb until he’s at his target 🎯

One of my favourite things is watching the friendships that form along the way 🥰 and the support and encouragement everyone gives each other. It’s pretty special

Hello!
Sadly the Hall at Trelander is unusable as the building is fire damaged following a fire there last night.
Trelander Community Centre Slimming World group on Wednesdays will relocate to Truro High School for Girls TR1 2HU for the foreseeable future until I can find an alternative venue.
Contact Fiona on 07303 014291 for full details.
Starting from 17 September at 5.30pm. Plenty of parking, use entrance from Daniell Road/Daniell Court - we will use Kensey building - entrance is around the other side of the building next to glass dance hall.

Awareness post...
I've recently seen alot of children on bikes and scooters riding around Roche and in the skate park without wearing helmets!

This scares me after our recent experience in June! My son who's a confident rider had one little slip up while on his scooter at a skate park and although he had his helmet with him he failed to put it on for this little ramp he just did!
This lead to him having 3 skull fractures and arterial bleed needing to be blue lighted to Bristol hospital where he went in for surgery! Hes had months off school and is still going through the long healing process but luckily on the mend!
I wouldn't wish this to happen to any other child or parent so I'm just telling our story to maybe help convince children that ok it might not be cool to wear one but it can most definitely save a life!
Lesson well learnt! Let's continue to teach others!
