It’s happening! The doors are officially opening on Saturday 13th from 7am-3pm.

I’ve put absolutely all my love (and savings) into this business and I can’t wait to show you all what I’ve got to offer. It looks just how I imagined and I am so incredibly happy to be realizing my dreams. So come to Nick’s and enjoy one of the best coffees in town.

Even better, to celebrate day one, THE COFFEE IS ON ME! That’s Right. Free coffee all opening morning!

Unfortunately, I have had major issues getting hold of my serve over fridge due to supply chain chaos - but I won’t let an illegal war started by war criminals stop me. Because of this, it is more of a soft launch, meaning no bagels just yet. Do not panic though, they are coming soon!

In the meantime, there will be a selection of pastries and a wonderful choice of bougie treats coming from BrownieMacs - so come and try one of the best brownies in town along with your coffee.

🏳️‍🌈 Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈

Pride has always meant something deeply personal to me.

As a gay man, I've been fortunate to experience incredible love, friendship and support throughout my life. But like many LGBTQ+ people, I've also experienced moments that remind me why Pride still matters. Moments where simply loving the person I love has attracted judgement, discomfort or unkindness.

Those experiences don't define us, and they certainly don't define my relationship with Sean. What defines us is love, commitment, laughter, and building a life together. Yet they serve as a reminder that not everyone enjoys the same freedom to be themselves without fear of being treated differently.

Pride is about celebrating how far we've come, but also remembering the history that got us here. It honours those who fought for equality, those who couldn't live openly, and those who continue to face discrimination around the world today.

Most of all, Pride is about visibility. It's about letting people know they don't have to hide who they are. It's about creating a world where two people in love are seen simply as that two people in love.

My hope is that one day Pride will be remembered not because it was needed, but because it helped create a kinder, more accepting world for everyone.
