This Carers Week, let's challenge the guilt and remember that caring for yourself is part of caring for someone else.

This week is Carers week an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring and the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the big contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.

It also raises awareness around those people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access support.

This years theme is Building Carer Friendly Communities and highlights the impact carer friendly communities can have in making a real and lasting difference to the lives of carers everywhere.
