Our website has only a small selection of what we have available in store, so feel free to drop us an email if you can’t see what you want, or call in at the shop.

• st valentine or anytime • just taken delivery of some stunning hellebores and freshly picked, english grown, heavenly scented narcissi • hellebores flower early and are one of my favourite perennials as they usher in springtime, year in, year out • I'd have that over a bunch of out of season, imported roses on Sunday or anyday •

• dried floral heaven in the shop right now • channelling better vibes through British grown dried flowers • tomorrow we should have a tad more sunshine, which will be lovely • all the businesses in Chapel Place are open as normal and golly we need a bit more footfall (and sales - sorry to be brash) • so take a little wander and discover January pinks and golds instead of only blues •

• so the tree came home on the roof rack on Christmas Eve • it's making me very happy • as a retailer at Christmastime it's all too easy not to do your own christmassy things, but I normally pull it together in the nic of time • A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came and shopped local with us and other indies this Christmas • the fun of interacting with others whilst choosing a special gift is something so magical • I mean, the moments that are experienced within our walls are a joy • a lovely lady buying a gift for a wide eyed child who she didn't know, almost had me in tears • probably the standout moment on Christmas Eve, four 8 year old girls (guessing their age) running round the (packed) shop after telling their mum's that they were in the Zombie Apocalypse shop!! because, apparently we have everything to survive such a catastrophe from pocket knives, snacks and books (just in case you're bored in a bunker) • utterly hilarious and something you'd not experience staring at a scrolly screen • happy Christmas you wonderful people • thanks from the indies ### •
