🎉 A huge congratulations to Joanne Hedley!
Jo has officially achieved her Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Thermolysis and Cryotherapy for Blemish Removal Treatments (RQF) - a brilliant achievement and one she has worked hard for.
But I also wanted to use Jo’s achievement to explain something that's really important when you’re choosing an advanced blemish removal course.
Not all regulated training is delivered in the same way.
Regulated qualifications set the required learning outcomes, but they don’t always reflect the full range of blemishes you may encounter in practice.
That’s why, at Jane Bryan Beauty Training, we deliberately teach beyond the core requirements
Our students are taught 16 different blemish types, giving them a much broader understanding of the conditions they may see in clinic and far more confidence when they begin offering treatments.
Because for us, the qualification itself is only part of the outcome.
Yes, you need to meet the regulated standard.
But we also want you to leave knowing how to recognise different blemishes, understand when treatment is appropriate, know when you should refer or decline treatment, and feel confident working with a much wider range of clients.
That's why we deliberately teach beyond the minimum requirements of the qualification.
You’re not simply learning enough to pass.
You’re learning the knowledge and practical skills you will actually need when you’re standing in front of a client.
And Jo has now successfully completed that journey. ❤️
