🌿✨ GIFTED SPACE AVAILABLE ✨🌿

A lovely Mum has kindly gifted her space for tomorrow’s Baby Yoga session at Swarthmoor Hall (10–11am), as she’s unfortunately unable to attend.

💛 No strings attached.
💛 Just a beautiful act of mama-to-mama kindness.

With the warm weather continuing, we’ll be taking things a little slower than usual and adapting our session to help everyone stay cool and comfortable. Expect gentle movement, sensory play, cooling activities, relaxation, and plenty of opportunities for bonding and fun.

Perfect for babies from around 12 weeks through to active crawlers.

If you’d love to join us tomorrow, send me a message to claim this gifted space.

With a little help from ChatGPT, I’ve finally managed to put together a timetable of everything I offer each week! 🙈✨

I’ve been meaning to do this for such a long time, but as many fellow small business owners will know, there is a crazy amount of admin that goes on behind the scenes. Looking after families is definitely my happy place… spreadsheets and timetables, not so much! 😅

Hopefully this makes it a little clearer for everyone to see what’s happening each week from September and where classes are held, and how you can access support through Doula Diary.

Whether you’re expecting a baby, navigating the early days of parenthood, looking for baby classes, or needing a listening ear, there’s something here for you. 💜

Thank you to everyone who continues to support my little business. It truly means the world.

Father’s Day Special Adventure – We’re Going on a Bear Hunt 🐻

I’ve never run a Daddy & Me workshop before, so it was such a joy to bring a much-loved story to life through baby massage, baby yoga, and sensory exploration.

Together we swished through the grass, splashed through the river, squelched through the mud, wandered through the forest, and headed outside to discover the cave where our friendly bear was hiding.

Thank you to all the dads, grandads and little ones who came along and made the morning so special. It was wonderful to see so many moments of connection, laughter and adventure shared together.

I hope you enjoy your muddy footprint keepsake and have a lovely Father’s Day.

With gratitude,

Leanne

Did you know?

The latest figures suggest that almost 1 in every 2 babies born in England is now born by caesarean section.

In 2025:
🤱 55.5% of births were vaginal
🏥 44.5% were by caesarean
📅 20.4% were planned caesareans
🚨 24.1% were emergency caesareans

These numbers can feel surprising, especially when many parents begin pregnancy expecting a straightforward vaginal birth.

But statistics are not predictions.

A population trend cannot tell you how your birth will unfold.

What it does highlight is the importance of:

✅ Understanding your options
✅ Learning about physiological birth
✅ Knowing the benefits and risks of all modes of birth
✅ Exploring your choices around induction, monitoring and place of birth
✅ Preparing for different possibilities while still holding space for your preferred birth experience

Birth preparation isn’t about guaranteeing a particular outcome.

It’s about entering labour informed, confident and able to make decisions that feel right for you and your baby.

💜 Whether your baby is born vaginally, by planned caesarean, or by emergency caesarean, your birth matters and you deserve evidence-based information and respectful care throughout.

✨ NEW ADDITION TO OUR MOTHERHOOD RETREAT ✨

I’m so excited to share that we’ve added a beautiful Sound Bath Experience to our Motherhood Retreat at The Swan Hotel on 5th July. 🤍

One of the questions I’ve been asked is…

“How will this work if I’m pregnant or attending with my baby?”

The answer is: beautifully.

For our expectant mothers, the Sound Bath offers an opportunity to slow down, switch off from the outside world and spend time connecting with your baby in a calm and nurturing environment. Many women describe sound baths as deeply relaxing and restorative, helping them feel grounded, present and supported.

For new mothers, this is an invitation to simply receive. No expectations. No to-do list. Just a chance to rest, breathe and allow your nervous system some much-needed care.

And if you’re attending with a non-mobile babe in arms?

Your baby is welcome too.

Babies can remain cuddled in your arms, feeding, sleeping or simply listening to the gentle sounds around them. There is absolutely no expectation for babies to be quiet or still. This is motherhood as it is, and all babies are welcome exactly as they are.

If you’d prefer some uninterrupted time for yourself, you can attend the retreat solo in the morning and bring your baby along from 2pm for the photography session and Sound Bath experience.

This retreat was never about creating perfection.

It’s about creating a space where women feel held.

Where pregnant mothers and new mothers can come together, slow down and leave feeling nourished, supported and connected.
