My complete antenatal journey — covering birth, newborn life, feeding, recovery, first aid, sharing the load, plus community and ongoing support beyond the course.

This isn’t about telling you how to give birth.

It’s about helping you feel informed, prepared and confident to make decisions that feel right for you and your baby.

Reduced-Cost Places 🤍

Did you know that Doula Diary offers a small number of reduced-cost places on my antenatal courses?

If finances are feeling difficult right now, please don’t assume that antenatal education is out of reach. I would much rather you got in touch privately and we had a conversation about what might be possible.

I truly believe antenatal education should be accessible to every family. In an ideal world, I would offer my courses completely free, and perhaps in the future, with some of the plans I’m working towards, I’ll be able to do exactly that. 🤍

For now, though, Doula Diary is a small independent business, and I do need to charge for my courses in order to continue offering them.

And when I say antenatal education, I mean so much more than simply preparing you for birth.

My courses bring together the things I believe families genuinely need, including:

✨ Birth preparation and understanding your choices
✨ Your rights and informed decision-making
✨ Emotional wellbeing and preparing for the transition into parenthood
✨ Understanding normal newborn behaviour
✨ Feeding education and realistic expectations
✨ Practical preparation for those first days and weeks
✨ Confidence, connection and knowing where to seek support
✨ Evidence-informed education delivered with compassion

There is a lot of time, training, preparation, experience and care behind what I offer, and I want to make sure I can continue providing that to the standard I believe families deserve.

But I also recognise that circumstances can make the full course fee difficult.

Reduced-cost places may be available if you are experiencing financial pressure due to things such as:

• Reduced household income
• Redundancy or changes to employment
• Benefits or financial support
• Unexpected expenses
• Housing or family difficulties
• Other circumstances affecting your ability to pay

You don’t need to provide extensive personal details. I will simply ask enough to understand your circumstances and consider what may be possible.

Everything is handled privately, compassionately and confidentially.

Please don’t feel embarrassed about getting in touch.
There is absolutely no judgement here. 🤍

A little bit about what I do as a doula

If you’re expecting a baby, you might be wondering… what actually is a doula?

A doula is someone who walks alongside you through pregnancy, birth and those first precious (and sometimes overwhelming!) weeks of parenthood.

I’m not here to tell you how to birth your baby. I’m here to help you understand your choices, feel informed and confident, and remind you that your body, your baby and your birth matter.

As your doula, I can offer:

🤍 Antenatal support & education: helping you prepare for birth, understand your options and explore what matters to you.

🤍 Continuous birth support: calm, reassuring, hands-on and emotional support for you and your birth partner, wherever and however your baby is born.

🤍 A listening ear: without judgement, pressure or agendas. Sometimes you just need someone who truly listens.

🤍 Birth partner support: helping your partner feel confident and involved rather than unsure of what to do.

🤍 Postpartum support: practical and emotional help as you find your feet, recover, and adjust to life with your new baby.

And perhaps most importantly… I’ll be in your corner. 🫶

Whether you’re planning a home birth, hospital birth, VBAC, caesarean birth, or simply don’t know what you want yet you deserve support that is individual to you.

If you’re having your baby in October, November or December, now is a lovely time to start thinking about the support you’d like around you.
