The Easter holidays in the Wellbeing by Vanessa household will be spent revising for some up coming GCSE exams in May.

How appropriate that the first past paper to be completed is of Religious Studies because it hit me this is the anniversary week of when Jesus had Judas over for dinner, he kissed both of Judas cheeks and then washed his feet knowing full well that Judas was about to betray him.

I think it's pretty fair to say most of us would say 'f**k that, no chance' but a change in perspective had Jesus seeing Judas as his teacher. Jesus was about to learn the lesson of being careful about who he trusted because not everyone wanted to see him win. The reality is if people think sinking you gives them a leg up then they'll do it. We've all been there!

Question: Can we see our Judas' as our teachers and not only thank them for the lesson but also forgive them for their betrayal?

Answer: Yes, but it takes alot of inner work and there is no quick or easy fixes.

Surrounding ourselves with reminders of nature, whether at home or work, can make a world of difference!

It’s no secret that I have a special connection with white lilies. I always keep a vase of them in my treatment room, and the soothing scent offers me a reassuring feeling. I suppose I just love having them around!

The white lily, often associated with death and rebirth, feels particularly fitting in my space, as it embodies the essence of transformation that my treatments aim to provide.

Here are a few reasons why we should invite flowers and plants into our lives:

Boosts Mood: The presence of nature can elevate our spirits and reduce stress.

Enhances Creativity: A touch of greenery can inspire fresh ideas and clarity of thought.

Promotes Wellbeing: Plants improve air quality and can even boost productivity.

Let’s embrace the beauty of nature and fill our spaces with these little reminders of life and renewal!

I had the immense privilege of officiating a wedding ceremony in a magnificent woodland glade. With flowers adorning the chairs and the soft rustle of leaves overhead, it truly felt like stepping into a Robin Hood story.

As the couple exchanged their vows surrounded by nature's beauty, there was an undeniable magic in the air. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and the enchanting spirit of the woods. I’m so grateful to have been a part of this very special moment in their lives. Here’s to love in the heart of nature!

Full Moon in Libra – 13th April 2025

As we embrace the energy of the full moon in Libra, it's a perfect time to seek balance and harmony in our relationships. This lunar phase encourages us to reflect on partnerships and the importance of collaboration.

Planetary Alignments: On this full moon, we’ll also see Venus in a supportive trine to Jupiter, enhancing our capacity for love, joy, and abundance. This alignment can bring opportunities for deeper connections and emotional growth.

What to Look Out For:

Relationship Clarity: This is a powerful moment to assess your relationships. Are they balanced? Are your needs being met?

Creative Inspiration: The harmonious energy may spark creativity, making it an ideal time to express yourself artistically.

Conflict Resolution: If tensions have been brewing, this full moon provides an opportunity for diplomacy and understanding.

Embrace this time to nurture your connections and find peace within yourself. Happy full moon!

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it’s all too easy to forget about our own happiness while juggling responsibilities and caring for others. Let’s make it a point to carve out at least one moment each day just for ourselves!

It doesn’t have to be grand or require extensive planning—sometimes, the simplest acts of selfcare can bring the most joy. Here are a few ideas to inspire you:

Enjoy a cup of your favourite tea or coffee in peace.

Take a short walk in nature and breathe in the fresh air.

Spend 10 minutes journaling your thoughts or gratitude.

Treat yourself to a few pages of that book you’ve been meaning to read.

Try a new recipe or bake your favourite treat.

Listen to your favourite music and have a little dance!

Remember, prioritising your happiness isn’t selfish—it’s essential! Let’s make joy a daily habit.

Feeling so grateful for this beautiful gesture from a wonderful client! It’s been an absolute joy to witness their incredible transformation since our first appointment. From struggling with mental, physical, and emotional challenges, they’ve completely changed their life — switching careers, moving homes, and embracing a brand-new journey.

My role? Just holding space for them to explore, work through, and heal their traumas and blockages. It’s moments like this that remind me why I love what I do. Here’s to celebrating growth and new beginnings!
