🐾 Puppy Mantrailing – 6 Week Course 🐾

A fun and supportive 6 week puppy mantrailing course designed to introduce young dogs and their handlers to the foundations of trailing in a positive, confidence-building way. 🐾 All exercises designed with puppies development in mind! 🐾

This course is ideal for puppies who are ready to begin learning mantrailing with each week carefully planned to build skills step by step. We will focus on calm foundations, confidence, scent understanding, and clear communication, giving both puppy and handler the best possible start.

🐶 Weekly Breakdown:

Week 1 – Settle, Equipment & Overview
Helping puppies settle into the environment, introducing equipment, correct harness fitting, long line handling, practice exercises and a full course overview.

Week 2 – Scent Inventory & Scent Targeting
Introducing scent inventory and scent targeting exercises to help puppies begin to understand and focus on the correct odour source.

Week 3 – Indication
Building a clear indication and helping puppies learn how to communicate when they have found their target.

Week 4 – Decoys
Introducing decoys and developing motivation, confidence and understanding of the search game.

Week 5 – Split Trails & Back Trails
Introducing simple split trails and back trails to build problem solving, confidence and decision making skills, while helping puppies begin to work through changes in direction.

Week 6 – Showing Off & Certificates
A chance to bring everything together, show off new skills, celebrate progress and finish the course with certificates.

The past month has been the busiest of the year, filled with long days, full books, and lots and lots of pampered pups.
Every dog came through our doors ready for extra care, comfort, and a little festive TLC, and it was truly a privilege to look after them all. 💝
I want to say the biggest thank you to each and every one of you for your patience, kindness, and understanding during such a busy time. Your support never goes unnoticed and means more to me than you know. 💛
I am also incredibly grateful for the kindness & generosity shown , the kind words, cards, gifts, and treats were so thoughtful and deeply appreciated. They brought so many smiles and made those busy days feel extra special. 🎁🤍
Thank you for trusting me with your precious dogs and for being such a wonderful, supportive community. It truly makes all the hard work worthwhile.
Looking after your dogs is so much more than a job. I feel incredibly lucky to know them, care for them, and be part of their lives. From nervous first visits to familiar cuddles and wagging tails, every dog holds a special place in my heart. 💝
I also want to take a quiet moment to remember the beautiful souls who are no longer with us and have crossed the Rainbow Bridge 🌈🐾. They are deeply missed and will always be remembered with love.
As we step into the new year, I look forward to welcoming familiar faces, and to continuing to care for your dogs with kindness, patience, and love.
