☀️ Hot Weather, Mental Health & Medication
The recent warm weather can affect both your physical and mental wellbeing. Some medications, including those used for mental health conditions, can make it harder for your body to stay cool and stay hydrated.
💧 Drink plenty of water
🏠 Keep cool and avoid the hottest part of the day
😴 Prioritise rest and sleep where possible
💊 Continue taking prescribed medication and speak to your GP, pharmacist or mental health team if you have concerns
Please check in on friends, family members and neighbours who may be struggling in the heat.
❤️ If this post is helpful, please like, share and help us spread the message so more people can stay safe during the hot weather.
