LOOKING TO TONE YOUR GLUTES 🍑

It’s not all about how much you lift but HOW you lift. 💪 Technique is everything so here are some of my top tips:

1. Exhale on the lift.
2. Connect the pelvic floor first followed by core, glutes & inner thighs.
3. Use your abs to knit your ribs down towards the hip bones & avoid flaring.
4. Make a small tuck of the tailbone to help activate glute connection.
5. Avoid lifting into the neck. Body weight should be between the shoulder blades not into the neck.
6. Make sure the feet are placed near to the bottom to allow range of movement & connection
7. Keep the legs parallel

When form comes first movement is more effective & efficient.

FINDING DEEP CORE CONNECTION….in neutral spine and pelvis, with correct rib cage closure and lateral breath. THIS is where the real work happens and results are gained. Control, mobility and strength. 🔥

TOP TIPS
1. Feel anchored to the floor through the sacrum, lengthening the spine & pelvis into neutral
2. Elbows directly under armpits, chest open, scapular connected down, away from the ears. Knit the ribs down and around the torso
3. Exhale to connect the powerhouse (pelvic floor & core)
4. Find engagement before movement
5. Make movement from the hip joints-avoiding rocking in the pelvis
6. Keep legs at 90• or more.
7. SLOW IT DOWN. 😜
