Be mindful of the people you surround yourself with.
Some people are like black holes. They leave you feeling depleted, exhausted, and empty—not because they’re bad people, but because they’re carrying an emptiness they’re desperately trying to fill. They’re searching for a lifeline to survive, and without realizing it, they begin holding onto your energy instead.
Compassion is important. But compassion doesn’t require self-sacrifice.
You can care deeply about someone and still recognize that it’s not your responsibility to save them at the cost of yourself.
Healthy relationships don’t leave you constantly drained. They allow both people to give, receive, and grow.
If you’re struggling with a needy friend or relative and don’t know how to set boundaries without feeling guilty, you’re not alone. Send me a DM or get in touch—I’d be happy to help you navigate it with compassion, confidence, and clarity.
💛 You deserve relationships that support your wellbeing, not just your willingness to give.
