7-15 June is British Heart Week ❤️ A time to raise awareness of heart and circulatory diseases, and the impact they have on millions of people across the UK.

Heart conditions can affect anyone, at any age. They’re one of the biggest causes of death, but small changes can make a big difference, from staying active 🚶‍♀️ to eating well 🥗 and knowing your numbers like blood pressure and cholesterol.

It’s also a time to support the incredible work of the British Heart Foundation, helping to fund life-saving research and provide support for those affected ❤️

📲You can now get cervical screening results on the NHS App.

If you’ve had a cervical screening test, your results may be sent to you through the NHS App.

If your result is normal:
You’ll receive a secure message in the NHS App letting you know your result. There’s no need to wait for a letter in the post.

If your result is abnormal:
You’ll still receive a letter by post. This will explain your result in more detail and tell you what will happen next.

Not all results appear instantly, and the NHS will always contact you in the right way if any follow‑up is needed.

June is Sands Awareness Month 💛 A time to raise awareness of stillbirth and neonatal death, and the lasting impact of losing a baby before, during or shortly after birth.

For a long time, baby loss has been difficult to talk about. Many people still don’t realise how common it is, or how deeply it affects families. While progress has been made in breaking the silence, there is still more to do.

This month gives a voice to those who have experienced loss, and reminds us that over 100 babies die every week in June and all year round🕯️

Today is World MS Day.

World MS Day brings people together to raise awareness of multiple sclerosis (MS), share stories, and support everyone affected by the condition. It’s a reminder that MS can impact anyone, and that early support, understanding and connection make a real difference.

You can find information, personal stories and ways to get involved on the official World MS Day website:
https://worldmsday.org/

Please share to help raise awareness and show support for everyone living with MS.
