❤️ British Heart Week ❤️

7–15th June is British Heart Week ❤️ A time to raise awareness of heart and circulatory diseases, and the impact they have on millions of people across the UK. Heart conditions can affect anyone, at any age. They’re one of the biggest causes of death, but small changes can make a big difference, from staying active 🚶‍♀️ to eating well 🥗 and knowing your numbers like blood pressure and cholesterol. It’s also a time to support the incredible work of the British Heart Foundation, helping to fund life-saving research and provide support for those affected ❤️

Find out more or get support here: https://www.bhf.org.uk/ 🤝

We support people living with heart and circulatory diseases. Thanks to your donations, we fund research to give them more time with their loved ones.

15th – 21st June- Cervical Screening Awareness Week

This week is Cervical Screening Awareness Week. Nearly 1 in 3 people don’t attend their cervical screening, but it’s so important to go when you’re invited. We know it can feel uncomfortable or cause anxiety, and it’s completely normal to feel nervous, but it usually only takes a few minutes and could save your life Cervical screening (sometimes called a smear test) checks the cells of your cervix the lower part of the womb. It helps spot any changes early, so they can be monitored or treated before they develop into cancer. Please make sure you book your appointment when invited

For more information and support, visit:

For Cervical Screening Awareness Week, we answer some common questions about cervical screening, including what to expect at a smear test.
