How my last 8 months has been going as a registered nurse. Can’t believe my time at Mexborough elective orthopaedic’s has gone so fast! I absolutely love working there so much.

In that time I’ve learnt such a lot about orthopaedic surgery & I’m now totally independent with all foot & hand surgery, ACL reconstruction, knee replacements & I’m just about there with hip replacements & shoulders. I also teach & assess students now as I have passed all my assessor training. As you can see from the photo, with one of my students we learn in a relaxed environment that focuses on good practice & patient care. Can’t wait to see where the remainder of my first year takes me.
