Just a gentle reminder I’m on annual leave from Saturday the 12th of September until Tuesday the 22nd of September!

WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?

It’s an acoustic sound healing journey using various instruments including sound bowls that allows the listener to enter a meditative state and to feel calm, relaxed, grounded, and focused. You might feel different mental, emotional, and physical sensations throughout the session. It could be like floating on a cloud, feeling peaceful, happy, energized, or relaxed.

Sound healing traces its roots back to ancient civilizations such as Greece, Egypt, and India. These societies believed in the transformative healing power of sound and used methods such as singing bowls, chanting, and tuning forks to promote a harmonious environment for the body to heal itself.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING 💫

Bring a yoga mat, a bottle of water and wear comfortable clothes. The goal here is to relax. We have pillows and blankets for use, but if you prefer to feel bring your own or anything you need to help you relax that’s absolutely fine.

Bliss Aromatherapy Reed diffusers. 💜

I’m running low on stock in salon and have had a few requests and orders placed for these gorgeous scented room diffusers. I will be putting an order through, by the end of the month.

Reed diffusers are £22 (100ml bottle)

Refills are £35 (200ml)

These come in a variety of fragrances and an option of two coloured bottles - Amber or White.

If you would like to order please ping your order to me over the next couple of weeks. I will update you with a final date when I will place the order.

I will then do one more order for this year before the festive season!

There are 3 scents which are perfect for Autumn/Winter plus many more beautiful fragrances.

💚 Apricity -which is like walking through a wood with pine, spearmint, cedarwood, benzoin …..

🧡Abundance (formerly known as Autumn) - containing Orange, Bergamot, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang…..

💛 Joy (formerly the Christmas scent) - Mandarin, Orange, Cinnamon, Clove and Frankincense.

My personal favourites being Anahata and Primavera (formerly known as Spring bloom) plus Oud which is featured on the post.

The added beauty of these products are that they are vegan and cruelty free. 🐇🌎 Also safe for pets if kept out of their way so the reeds don’t brush onto their fur. 🐶🐱

Hello September! 🌅🤎💛🧡🌅

September is the month of the end of Summer and the beginning of Autumn usually around the 21st of September. This year it arrives on the 23rd with the Autumn equinox.

A birthday month for Virgo’s and later Librians. Autumn is the beginning of the change of season with crisp mornings and evenings. The start of school for children and work for many too.

September’s stone is the Sapphire and the birth flower the Aster.

I always ensure I have these 3 products in my Medicine kit. The oils are great to have for first aid. I’ve listed the benefits below but these products can be ordered as a trio or I keep individual oils in stock.

Soil is a company which have good ethics being cruelty free and vegan plus the oils are certified organic and managed, packaged and distributed sustainably. A huge plus for us here at Angelic. 💫

As I said previously - you can buy them as the little Trio set which is £16.90 or individually if you prefer one or two of the products. However you do save by buying the set.

Safety and guidelines.

As with all essential oils do not put directly into a bath. Please dilute in a carrier oil first and check when using on children. Some practitioners advise not using under 3 months, some advise not to use under 2 years. It’s ALWAYS better to check.

Just a little update to say we won’t be open this coming Saturday.

I’ve never taken an August Bank holiday Saturday off since I came into this industry 18 years ago so I’m treating myself and spending some time with my loved ones.

I am available to contact and book appointments or order/collect products up until Friday when I finish. All the therapists who work at Angelic are also able to take appointments too.
