Some funky facts you may or may not have heard about me 👀

In no particular order!

I have led a community based women's circle and red tent since 2018! It was a labour of love and I am forever proud of it.

I got married in Tuscany at 24, a mere baby! We've been together for 19 years ❤️

Last year I hiked the Anglesey coastal path in 5 days to celebrate being in remission from cancer. We saw Wales, a raven, and each day ended with a rainbow 🌈

I was a teenage tomboy, I was in the drill squad, the shooting and rowing team and loved nothing more than a log run followed by an obstacle course 😄

I adore reading, rollercoasters, crochet, music, and sitting around a fire after a wild swim. 💖

I was an RSPCA inspector, I got my first degree in Psychology but went on to pursue a Masters in Animal Behaviour...in fact I've always been passionate about animals!

After I had my children I studied mindfulness, yoga and massage and went on to teach in the community and at schools so that I could work around family life. Sometimes I dressed as a mushroom 🍄 😅

I have worked as a wellbeing coach and mentor since 2018, in the community, at schools and with local charities and CICs. I love my work with young people. I am constantly learning, and have added multiple qualifications to my toolkit over the years. Trauma, life coaching and grief work to name a few....

My next chapter takes me back to uni, for another go at a Masters Degree. 👩🏼‍🎓

Also....I will forever covert the hair do I had at age 7 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

There is a lot of noise out there, especially in the social media space around wellbeing.

I prefer to keep things simple.

Here are some things I do that cost very little that keep me well:

▫️Walking (I walk to work, walk the dog, walk just for walkings sake)

▫️ Exercise (I go to the gym, but when I am short of time I use whatever I have in the house and stretch, do body weight exercises or bounce on a trampoline)

▫️Drink lots of water (and coffee)

▫️Eat good food (I try to keep my diet balanced and I don't stress about calories, I'm mindful around sugar and alcohol)

▫️I have downtime and creative space (I read, listen to music, garden, crochet, sew, dance around the kitchen)

▫️Social time (with family and friends that don't drain my energy)

▫️I learn (i read, try new things, do algebra for fun, watch documentaries and learn from others)

▫️Time outdoors (park, beach, stomping around the streets, swimming in the sea)

▫️I don't sweat the small stuff (if it's not life threatening I let it slide, if it's still a problem I deal with it)

▫️I process my emotions (I process with loved ones, I journal, I'm mindful of my thought patterns, I get therapy when appropriate)

▫️I listen to my body (i do more when I can, and read when I need to)

▫️I stay in my own lane (comparison is the thief of joy, and others people's energy can really do a number on you if you allow it)

I wanted to give a shout out,
I have been attending Pauline's Pilates retreats for 5 years now.

Through sickness and health, every year is an absolute delight.

She creates a space for complete rest, every detail is so obviously thought about, from the home cooked food, the homemade touches, the pilates, the music and the opportunities for connections.

Pauline has built a beautiful community, out of a clear love for what she does, passion and authenticity.

This weekend always fills me up, and I highly recommend everything that she offers.

She's the real deal, through and through 💗

Hi 👋🏼

I'm Leigh-Anne, and it's been a while since I have introduced myself here on Insta!

I'm a coach, mentor and grief educator.

I work day to day with teens and have a private practice working from my home (online and in The Wirral 🌅)

I have been coaching using various modalities since 2018, and have developed a real love in working with grief, end of life and illness.

I also enjoy helping all people to live their lives free from limitations ❤️ and running my community lead womens circle ⭕

I enjoy spending time with my young family, my dog Rosa, the beach, sitting fireside, swimming in lakes and rivers, saunas of all kinds, endless reading and drinking tea, wearing my headphones and ignoring everyone....and going for long walks whilst discovering the names of every plant, tree and bird (then immediately forgetting them)

Christmas can bring up lots of stuff.

It's beautiful when we can slow down and spend precious time with loved ones.

But often that is bittersweet,

If you aren't feeling the festive spirit, it's OK

Get a takeout, wrap yourself in a blanket,
Binge watch your favourite programme, light a candle and look at photos.

Do what feels right.

Christmas looks different some years, honour the seasons of your life 🎄
