This beautiful pair have just celebrated their one year anniversary and I’m so blown away by the feedback I got after I performed their ceremony:
As much as we love a good party, our wedding ceremony was the most important aspect of our day and we knew we wanted something different.
When a lifelong Witch meets a regular (yet spectacular) bloke from Hull, a balance of magic and some “normality” was needed. Especially for the lovely muggles amongst our guests.
I had always dreamt of a special and unique ceremony but didn’t really know where to look. By chance I mentioned it to Sandie over a brew and discovered she was a Celebrant who could help.
As a fellow Witch, I didn’t hesitate or look any further and Sandie looked after us from the start. With an initial meeting to gather our ideas and make suggestions, deciding on what components we wanted to include, followed by a very comprehensive questionnaire that we had to keep secret from one another. This was so much fun and we couldn’t wait to see what Sandie pulled together from it all.
The whole ceremony was completely bespoke and based around us and our story. We couldn’t have imagined anything more special and we both got emotional just reading it as a draft, never mind on the day!!
We had some delays and moving of the ceremony location on the day itself and Sandie actually kept me in the loop while I was getting dressed so I didn’t have to worry about what was going on. It was like having another event planner there with no stresses about the delay.
The ceremony was like nothing we had ever experienced before and was something completely different for all our guests too. It was funny, emotional, heart felt and just utterly perfect. It remains our most favourite part of the whole wedding and something we will never forget.
We cannot recommend Sandie highly enough and thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
