With the bank holiday fast approaching we would like to thank our patients for ordering and collecting their repeat prescriptions in plenty of time. πŸ’ŠπŸ’ŠπŸ’Š

Please do check in with vulnerable family members, friends, and neighbours that they have all the medication they need.

We attach details of which pharmacies are open over the Bank holiday weekend - many will be closed. It would be wise to check that the pharmacy is open before travelling to one if you need to use one over the long weekend.

You can easily order repeat prescriptions using the NHS app, by using the form on the right hand side of the repeat prescription or come to the practice in person.

If you do run out of medication, NHS 111 on line or by telephoning can offer advice on how to get an emergency supply until the surgery is open again on Tuesday 1st September. πŸ™‚

July is Good Care Month πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ«ΆπŸ»

Good Care Month is a nationwide campaign held every July to celebrate the dedication of people working in adult social care.

Originally launched by care providers to raise awareness of careers in care, it has grown into an annual opportunity to recognise the compassion, commitment and professionalism of all those who support others every day.

We focus on care workers, support staff, unpaid carers and volunteers such as those at Mill Stream Centre and volunteer drivers whose compassionate care helps people stay healthy, independent and connected to their communities.

A simple thank you can go a long way in recognising the dedication, kindness and professionalism shown by those who care for others.

Whether you are providing care, supporting a loved one, or helping someone in the community your contribution matters.

Parents and carers staying with Children receiving in patient care at the John Radcliffe hospital are now eligible for free meals during their child’s stay.

This is thanks to a new initiative between Mitie and the charity Sophie’s legacy. 🫢🏻
