First impressions matter....

And so does every detail beyond them.

Our investment in the environments we provide extends beyond our front doors. The external spaces surrounding our homes are just as important, and the recent transformation at Brookfield is a perfect example of that commitment in action.

Our Estates Team has completed a full external redecoration, significantly enhancing the home's kerb appeal, alongside a series of rear improvements that have made a real and lasting difference.

A new bin store, improved team member parking, and a thoughtfully designed, low-maintenance garden have transformed the outdoor areas into spaces that are both practical and genuinely welcoming.

These improvements reflect something we feel strongly about...

That every aspect of the environment we provide should meet the same standard of care that we deliver within it.

Most people don't really understand what specialist residential care involves...

They picture nursing homes, hospitals, or somewhere clinical and quiet.

The reality at Dignus is something quite different.

It's a home where someone who has spent years in restrictive settings finally has their own space.

Where a support worker learns sign language because one of the people they support is D/deaf.

Where a central support team member spends a day as a support worker, not because they have to, but because understanding the work starts with doing the work.

It's a football coach who also happens to need 24-hour support.

A woman marking her first full year in a placement, when she's never managed that before.

This is what we do every day at Dignus Group. Not in a clinical setting, or at arm's length. Right there, in the moments that matter.

Our Estates Team Has Been Busy at Brookfield! 🏡✨

We're so proud to share the fantastic external transformation of Brookfield, delivered once again by our incredible in-house Estates Team!

From a fresh external redecoration that has given the home a real boost in kerb appeal, to some brilliant improvements at the rear, the difference is truly remarkable.

The outdoor spaces have been completely refreshed, with a brand-new bin store, improved team member parking, and a beautifully laid out, low-maintenance garden that's practical, tidy, and ready for the people we support to enjoy.

A huge thank you to our Estates Team for their dedication, hard work, and pride in everything they do. These spaces don't just look great, they feel welcoming and well cared for, because they are. 🩷

Moving into a new home is one of the biggest moments in anyone's life. 🏠

For the people we support, many of whom live with autism, learning disabilities or complex mental health needs, that moment can feel even bigger with new faces, new spaces, and new routines.

It takes real care to get it right.

That's why at Dignus, we never rush a transition.

We take time to prepare the home, introduce familiar things, build relationships with the team before move-in day, and make sure the first hours and days are calm, predictable and full of choice.

Because when someone arrives feeling safe and settled, everything that follows is better.
