Chapter 49 ✨

What a weekend celebrating with family and friends. Feeling incredibly grateful for all the love, laughter, and memories made.

This birthday feels extra special. In just 5 weeks, I’ll be qualifying as a nurse—a goal I’ve worked so hard to achieve. As I step into this new chapter, I’m feeling proud, excited, and thankful for everyone who has supported me along the way.

How would you want your practitioner to tell you?

Today, during a lip filler treatment, I noticed signs that suggested a possible vascular occlusion.

As practitioners, we’re trained to recognise complications and act quickly. But in that moment, while I’m clinically assessing and managing the situation, I’m also thinking about the person sitting in front of me.

Do they want every detail immediately?

Do they want reassurance first?

Do they want me to explain exactly what’s happening as I work through it?

One thing I know for sure is that honesty matters.

If I ever have concerns during a treatment, my clients will always be told. Calmly, clearly, and with a plan.

Because confidence isn’t pretending complications never happen. Confidence is recognising them, managing them appropriately, and communicating openly with your patient throughout.

So I’m curious…

A little life update for my lovely clients 🤍

As many of you know, I’ve been working incredibly hard towards qualifying as a nurse, and I’m so excited to say that I’m now almost there! 🎓✨

A few of you have asked whether this means I’ll be stopping aesthetics, and the answer is a definite no. 💉🤍

Caring for people has always been my passion, and I feel incredibly privileged to be able to do that in different ways. Nursing allows me to care for people’s health and wellbeing, while aesthetics allows me to help people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.

For me, both roles go hand in hand. Looking after people, inside and out, is what I love most, and I truly can’t imagine giving up either.

I’m so grateful for all of your support throughout this journey. Thank you for trusting me, supporting me, and being part of this exciting next chapter. I can’t wait to continue growing in both careers and providing the best possible care for all of you.

The future is looking very exciting, and I’m taking you all with me 🤍✨
