We had a fantastic time putting our thinking caps on, enjoying a little friendly competition and plenty of laughs along the way! Everyone joined in, shared ideas, and showed off their word guessing skills. Proving that a bit of brain exercise can be both fun and heartwarming.

At Adelaide House, the afternoon turned up the temperature with some friendly but fierce competition! Residents faced off against staff and family in exciting chess matches filled with strategy, laughter, and a few surprising moves.

From clever checkmates to nail-biting finishes, it was a fantastic way to bring everyone together and keep those minds sharp!

Today we turned up the fun and cooled things down with our DIY Rocky Road Ice Cream Creations!

Residents got hands-on, mixing, sprinkling, and designing their own sweet masterpieces. From marshmallows to chocolate chunks, every scoop was full of creativity and smiles!

The best part? There are no limits! Just imagination, laughter, and a whole lot of delicious fun!

What a crumb-tastic day we’ve had celebrating National Biscuit Day here at Adelaide House!

Our wonderful residents and staff came together for a day filled with laughter, sweet treats, and plenty of biscuit fun and of course our lovely Home Manager Lola Olanjewaru joined in the celebrations too!

We enjoyed:

Music trivia never goes out of style at Adelaide House!

We turned up the fun with an exciting mix of classic hits, golden oldies, and a few modern favourites that had everyone thinking (and singing along!).

🎤 From guessing song titles after just a few notes, naming legendary artists to finishing famous lyrics, our residents truly put their musical knowledge to the test!

It was mind-boggling, entertaining, and full of joyful energy. This is a perfect reminder that music really brings everyone together.

We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🎼✨

Word Scramble Day at Adelaide House was a fantastic success, filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of brain teasing moments! Residents and staff alike truly put their thinking caps on as they worked together to solve tricky word puzzles and unscramble a variety of jumbled letters.

The room was full of energy as everyone joined in, sharing ideas, helping one another and celebrating each correct answer with smiles and applause. It was wonderful to see such great teamwork, with friendly competition adding to the excitement of the day.

From simple words to more challenging puzzles, everyone gave it their best effort and showed brilliant determination.

Activities like this not only spark creativity but also help keep our minds active and it was clear that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.

Well done to all who took part and your enthusiasm made the day truly special!
