Do you know the story behind dream catchers?
They are special charms designed as protection against bad dreams
In Native American traditions they were hung to protect against negative energy and bad dreams whilst letting good dreams float through
The hoop represents the earth
The weaving in the hoop represents the web of the guardian protector called the spider woman
The feathers allow the good dreams to descend to the sleeping person below
Today they are often used as decoration in our homes without a thought for the deep symbolic meaning behind them
If you want to learn more pop into the shop and see our new collection 💜

I had a lush day in the shop today so many lovely people generously sharing their stories with me 💕
Some little yellow ducks also made an appearance in the arcade thanks to the generosity of arberyemporium_wantage
I appreciate you taking the time to come into the shop and spend your hard earned cash 💕
The little hedgehogs below are making an appearance in the window as part of the September window- I thought they were too cute not to share 💕
