Why not pop in and say hello? Bloomfield Care will be hosting a friendly coffee morning at the Salvation Army, and we’d love to welcome you!

Come along for a warm drink, a chat, and the chance to meet the team in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Whether you’d like to find out more about what we do or simply fancy a cuppa and good company, everyone is welcome.

🌟 Celebrating Outstanding Care – Well Done Ellie! 🌟

We would like to recognise and celebrate the fantastic support recently provided by Ellie.

During a routine visit, Ellie immediately noticed that her client did not seem herself. Recognising changes including slurred speech and tingling in her hand, Ellie remained calm and acted quickly to ensure her client was safe and supported.

Whilst emergency medical assistance was not required, Ellie contacted the client's daughter, who attended shortly afterwards. Throughout the situation, Ellie provided reassurance and emotional support to both her client and her daughter, remaining with them until her client was feeling better and her daughter's emotions had settled.

This is a wonderful example of the vigilance, compassion, and professionalism our carers demonstrate every day. It's not just about recognising when something isn't right; it's about being there for people when they need support the most.

Thank you, Ellie, for your quick thinking, kindness, and dedication. We are incredibly proud to have you as part of the Bloomfield Care team. 💜

💙 RAFFLE FOR A GREAT CAUSE 💙

Our Christchurch Manager Kim and Deputy Manager Kolbyhave kindly made a lovely hamper to help Jo raise money for “Steps for Swings” 💙

From 1st–7th June, Jo will be walking from Cheltenham to Bournemouth to raise funds for safe playground equipment for two schools in Kenya after seeing first-hand the unsafe and broken swings and slides children were trying to play on.

If anyone would like to buy a raffle ticket, we are simply asking for a donation — there is no set price per ticket. Every penny raised will go directly to the project through the BOO Charity, meaning 100% goes to helping the children.
