Sharing my early morning musings today….
I have ox eye daisies in my lawn. They grew tall a few years ago when we left mowing the grass during ‘No Mow May’. Now each year, I let them blossom, feed the wildlife & bring me joy.
Something struck me as I watched the butterflies around them this morning. They were always there beneath the surface waiting to emerge if only we would allow them the right conditions & simply let them grow.
And then my thoughts drifted….
How much beauty, light & unique gifts do we all have beneath the surface that could, when given the right conditions, blossom in us, bringing so much light, joy & magic to the world?

So today, I invite you to consider what growing conditions would empower you to blossom. Maybe some gentle self love & encouragement is a start.
And with this nurturing, how could you grow?
Because when you grow & blossom, it ripples out into your life & to those around you❤️

Midsummer Solstice!
The longest day, half the year lived and a time to reflect on what feels like a very short 6 months. Pausing to adjust where life feels stagnated, honour what is complete & look ahead to what may come.

Those who know me well marvel at how much I pack in to life. As ever, I feel I could or should do more. That’s me, however, with time (& age), comes wisdom. I am learning to listen to my inner voice & my body. Take a dose of my own advice to step off the treadmill without guilt, to rest & recharge over the summer.

Here is where I honour my year thus far. Thank you for those who have been part of it & supported me.

A client asked me if I would consider holding a space where those, who, like her, are navigating fertility treatment, living with infertility, or coming to terms with the possibility that parenthood may not happen. Where you can be held & heard without judgement or advice.

So I created this circle - a place where you do not have to pretend, push feelings down and can be honest. A space to pause, to connect within allowing the messy emotions to rise & be witnessed.

I was surprised when I found 1 in 6 couples experience difficulties in conceiving. So many hoping, waiting, disappointed, grieving with quiet strength often in silence.

If this is you, I extend a warm invite to join me.

What to expect:
A warm welcome
There is no pressure to be positive.
No advice to give or receive.
No need to explain or justify your feelings.
Instead, there is a safely facilitated space to:
• connect inwardly through gentle guided meditation
• receive supportive, healing Reiki Energy Therapy
• time to share, if you wish or sit or maybe journal quietly with your thoughts.
• be witnessed without judgement
• honour & express the full spectrum of emotions
• connect with others who understand something of this.

This is not group therapy or counselling. It is a facilitated circle for connection, reflection, and support, a space where you can simply be with your experience, exactly as it is.

The day I stopped to smell the roses!
How often do you immerse yourself in nature?

I’m not talking walking the dog, gardening or sunbathing on the beach.

I mean truly stopping,
gently connecting,
mindfully,
reverently even,
engaging each of your senses to connect at that deeper soul level?

After a beautiful day with Chloe & Rich in the apothecary garden indulging in all things rose, I realised I don’t do it enough.

Lying amongst the roses, swaying grasses, beneath a deep blue sky & warm sun, I journeyed with the sensations.
Surrendering to scent, velvety petals, thorns, bees buzzing, a gentle breeze, earth beneath my feet.
I felt held. In that holding I FELT - grounded in my body, emotion rising, a freedom.

I have spoken before about feeling held by the land - by nature. I truly believe this is the antidote to life’s pushing & distraction. An elixir for the soul❤️

I also indulged in alchemy - distilling rose water with an alembic & made my own incense - satisfying that childlike part of me who loves new experiences

We all need days like these….

A lesson in letting go with an overdue clear out of stuff.
These are primary school models my 22 year old son made.
I remember when he brought them home from school. He was so proud. For years they sat on his bedroom shelf until he hit teens & relegated them to the loft.
Today he let them go without a second thought. ME - waves of emotion & nostalgia. A mother holding on to the memory of my golden haired curly boy cradling a cereal box covered with paint & glitter.

Feeling into the deeper energy here - there’s resistance, the tight grip on my heart, the grief & longing. There is also love.
It has me thinking on how stuff, music, smells, tastes can evoke such strong emotion, memories & stories we attach.

Some journeys ask us to hold more than we ever imagined.
The hope.
The waiting.
The uncertainty.
The heartbreak.
The decisions no one prepares you for.

If you are trying to conceive, navigating fertility treatment, living with infertility, or coming to terms with the possibility that parenthood may not happen, you may know how lonely this path can feel.

Quiet Strength Circle was created as a space to gently lay some of that down.

This is not group therapy or counselling. It is a facilitated circle for connection, reflection, and support, a space where you can simply be with your experience, exactly as it is.

Sharing a glimpse of Sundays beautiful full moon retreat.
It’s hard to put into words the sheer magic that happens in these spaces.
Each retreat has its own energy. Sundays? It was about letting go of energetic baggage & connecting to & bringing through inner power & light.

Mirabel & I feel truly privileged to hold these spaces and for trust you have in us.
